Blue Life Flux Rx - 2000mg Treats up to 100Gal Reef Safe, Use on Both Bryopsis and Green Hair Algae

I’ve been a reef keeper for over 15 years. I had an out of control green hair algae problem that I battled for months because of a skimmer issue I had. I finally decided to try this. It took a little over 2 weeks but it wiped the GHA out. Just make sure you turn your skimmer back on after the algae die off to keep from having another bloom

I used 1000mg in my 40 gallon + 20 gallon sump mixed reef. It took about 5 days to notice slight changes. And 8 days before noticeable thinning of the algae. I did a 20% water change on the 8th day and continued my weekly scheduled waterchanges. I wanted to see what would happen if I didnt do an initial removal algae. It still seemed to get it all removed. Also as expected I did notice a slight increase in nitrates and phosphates. But technically it went from zero to healthy levels. After 14 days the algae was fully gone. It's now been over a month and the algae has yet to come back. 👌

We have a 45g AIO reef tank, that is essentially empty (aside from a few inverts) but was overrun with green hair algae. You can see from my before and after pics that I've posted that this does indeed work! And all my inverts (a few snails, a cucumber) seem unscathed--even our large copepod population is still thriving, although probably less happy about the removal of the GHA. HOWEVER, just a caveat. The instructions for algae removal are to add a certain amount per day for 5 days. I have a 45g, as I said, and the tiny vial we got baaaaaarely was enough to complete a full 5-day course. It probably was 90% of the recommended treatment. So for the seller to claim it treats up to 100g is very disingenuous. Like maybe one day of a dose, but not the recommended 5-day course. Also, when doing a bit of manual cleaning after the algae had mostly dissolved, I could see where some of the algae root patches still seemed present and like maybe they would try and grow back, so I may do another treatment just to be safe. You receive a tiny vial of this product, and two different sized scoops--one is small and one is tiny. Once you math out how much to add each day, it's very easy. As many others said, you'll get more-or-less full results approximately a week after you finish the treatment. So don't fret if you don't notice anything right away. And, again, this didn't harm any of our snails, or even our large tigertail cucumber (thankfully!) Nor even our copepods. I'm not entirely clear on if it harmed our coralline algae... it may have a bit, but I mean.. that will grow back. Overall I'm pleased. It seems slightly expensive for the amount you get, but clearly I'd rather pay the amount twice than manually scrub algae, so clearly its worth it! I do recommend this! But if you have a 50g or larger, look carefully at dosing amounts, because you'll need a few boxes of this.

It did not do anything to my hair algae… not even discoloration or lessen…. It continue to grow and now I’m still searching for solution. Today is officially day 14. Worse than what I started.

Best product if you have gha green hair algae in aquarium. I've used this multiple times after nitrates got out of hand and my tank was full of algae. No harm to fish or corals and algae gone in 10 days. Love this stuff I tried everything else this was a life changer.

Use it as directed, be patient. This took care of all the bryopsis in my 75 mixed reef. Great product, highly recommend

Produit efficace contre filamenteuse. Mais attention au prix/quantité, il existe en 2000 g ou 4000 Mg.

Finalmente sono riuscito a debellare la derbesia dal mio acquario. Avevo provato di tutto, senza successo. Al momento i miei coralli sono rimasti inalterati, speriamo continui così
