Read all the blurb on this and it tells you that changes in temperature affect the liquid inside which then causes the crystallisation effect blah, blah. HOWEVER, how can it work as a weather device when it is kept in the warmth of your living room?! Just apply common sense and this can only work as intended if kept outside which it is certainly not meant to be used as such.Nice as an ornament so long as you accept that's all it is. It can only show changes according to temperature and humidity INDOORS.

Either I've been lumbered with a faulty version of this product, or it doesn't do what it's supposed to. The base is cheap and nasty, the glass is thin and it serves as nothing less than a painful reminder that I've wasted my money on it. On the plus side, if you want to be reminded to check how the weather is, pop it on your windowsill as a pleasant reminder that it does absolutely naff all and you'll have to look out of the window instead.

I ordered this as a present. Delivery was great & the product looks great but it's useless. We've had a terrible wind storm, settled weather & now snow & it literally hasn't changed a single bit. Just sits settled. Very disappointed.

Looks fascinating! Loved by the person that received it, waiting for it to settle, only thing is trying to find a place where it will go! Lol

Doesn't work, had it like 3 months now and just does nothing, the white stuff inside just sits at the bottom, it's never changed. Terrible product
