Battery acid everywhere. No way to know if it was a faulty battery or the products fault. But I also don't get even return them. My son wants to play with his dad's radio all the time so it made sense to get him his own. He loves them! He feels "just like daddy!" They are simple to use, my son is 2 and it took him a few tries to learn to push the button, but it also has monitor mode where he doesn't have to push the button all the time in order to talk. When my nephew comes over (6 years old) they can play very well using these.
