"304" is a food grade stainless that has less than .08% carbon and is usually 50% iron). There is one seam at the bottom of the tumbler (just like the name brand) in which the manufacture will insert an insulating material to aid in the heat/cold retention properties.The lid is extremely well made. There is a double "O" ring seal and the slide allowing the lid to be opened/closed is tight and waterproof/resistant. It has very nice weight to it--I can tell no difference between this and the name brand. Kollea puts a nice "sleeve/Koozie with their logo to fit on the outside of the tumbler--it's a very nice touch!So what makes this tumbler so nice? The price! This is $11.99 on Amazon (9/21/17). The name brand is four times the cost and in reality, no better made.
