The product is comparable to what is used in professional salons. It's main competitor here at Amazon is Walker Ultra Hold strips. AIRAO strips are easy to apply. They adhere well to the lace front which is where they should be used exclusively. Much easier to use then the Ultra Hold strips. More importantly AIRAO is easy to remove. Much easier then the Ultra Hold product. Both products work better in climates where you sweat less. However, I'd say the Ultra Hold product degrades more quickly in humid climates and is messier to clean up afterwards. Typically the AIRO product is easy to remove. I recommend both products be used in conjunction with a liquid adhesive. Never apply it directly to the strips but instead on your scalp prior to securing the lace front. I'd recommend Mity-Tite as the liquid adhesive. Let it dry for about 20 minutes prior to securing the lace front. You can used a hand dryer to quicken the process if you wish. Just be aware that no tape strip alone will secure the lace front for any extended period of use without the use of a liquid adhesive. It doesn't matter what the manufacturer promises it can do. If will not stick for long. Clean up time should be minimal. I've used just about all the various tape strips. These are what I always go back to. They are short and curved just enough to cover while easily contouring around corners without having to use scissors, saving time and waste. There is less itching compared to most. The adhesion is very good and requires no liquid adhesive (I dont know why others stress that you do). The backing is easy to remove. I dont know if the holes help with breathing but it seems like it cuts down on itching, but could simply be the tape formula. They hold for up to two weeks although for me I try to replace after one week due to breaking down into a sticky mess. The price is also less than most others.

I have alopecia and feeling secure in my full lace wigs is very important to me. The tape is easy to use, it peels easily and is easy to remove. It has a strong hold, no shine, and is sweat proof. It holds up during a 45-minute spin class. I also like the shorter length because it is easier to place around the different shapes around the hairline. Overall, just a wonderful product.

Strong hold, I can use the same tape for about 3 days (I take my wigs of at night). On the third day, my wig may start to slide around. Not sure if it may hold longer for women who install for weeks at a time. I like that the tape is thin and very flexible, almost like skin, I feel like this adds to why it works so well. I have sensitive skin and it does not irritate it. Removes from skin easily with shampoo. I took away 1 star because the pieces are very short, not standard-sized precut wig tape. Id say each piece is about 1.5 inches long and not what I was expecting. I wish this product came in a variety of precut lengths.

Works well, hard to find in stores.
