Bought this for blackheads mainly very gentle i use it every night and has pretty much cleared them up (i had bad blackheads) it is easy to use just put on damp skin and massage i find it best if i use water and keep maddaging a few times then washing off.

took about a month of daily use to start seeing results, now 2 months in and my complexion is pretty much clear on break outs and my face looks more fresh clean. would definitely recommend.

I used to use the clear start dermalogica facial wash (which I loved) and wanted to try and find a more cost effective face wash with the same ingredients. I asked ChatGPT and lo and behold they recommended this one. Pleased to say it is very similar and I’ve seen the same consistent improvement in my skin that I saw with dermalogica, but for half the price. Nice foamy wash, so you don’t need to use very much and I’m hoping it will last a long time. My only negative is the smell isn’t as fresh and herbal as my dermalogica one but happy to look past that for the effectiveness .

Tldr: it works. Yes there was an initial breakout but it’s just drawing out all the gunk and that’s to be expected cos you’re changing skin care routine. I’ve been using this product for a couple of weeks and I think it’s working! (I use this as part of an anti-blemish skin routine so it’s possible any changes to my skin could be due to another product or the combination of them all together) The main type of acne I had previously suffered with was hormonal acne and cysts. So my main concern is to treat the scarring and blemishes from that. I figured I’d suffer a breakout because I’m changing my skin care routine and my skins needs time to adjust. Right now my skin is breaking out. It’s drawn out some possible cystic-like acne spots and that’s to be expected and honestly desired because it’s what it’s meant to do. The general breakouts have been a different type of acne to what I’ve previously experienced, and if left alone and not picked at, goes away nicely. It’s dulled the appearance of the very dark acne scars I have on my cheeks. So with continued use the breakouts should have stopped or at least be a lot less dramatic and the blemishes should be less prominent. The product can leave skin feeling a little dry so properly moisturise afterwards. It is meant to have an orangey and ylang ylang scent and for a face wash it does quite subtly. Considering Salicylic acid has been one of the most talked about and marketed ingredients in skin care for the last year or two, I feel this product is a good value for its price. Most of all, it’s left me feeling comfortable enough to leave the house make up free and less self conscious

My combination skin generally responds quite well to niacinamide anyway but it was noticeably clearer after using this. The consistency is easy to lather and rinse off. I just wish it came in a pump, but the lid is quite easy to open/close. I've gone back to a cheaper face wash that contains hyaluronic acid and I do have slightly more blemishes now, but I think my skin is slightly softer. Overall, I prefer this one and will probably go back to it next time because in my 40's I don't really want spots and it's the only wash I've found so far that reduced them so it was worth the money in that respect!

Bought this facial cleanser for my second cleanse (I do the double cleansing method on days I wear makeup or SPF). This is a gel cleanser which has a light and refreshing scent that will lightly foam. This cleanser is gentle enough on my skin to be used twice daily and leaves my skin feeling refreshed but not stripped. Texture is pleasant and does not leave my face with a weird film after cleansing like some other cleansers can do. Probably more suitable for normal, combination and oily skins due to the salicylic acid ingredient - dry skin people may find this a tad drying

Didn't really do anything for my skin and I used it twice a day for months. When I ran out and stopped using, my skin didn't change. Obviously this may not be the case for others but for me personally, it did not help my acne or blackheads. I have very sensitive skin and it didn't irritate me at all, scent is mild and it's nice just to use as a wash after using your makeup remover anyway, removes oil and makes you feel clean if anything else. Although it doesn't lather and it's easy to use too much.

Refreshes and cleanses my skin. Would recommend.
