Super Facialist - Salicylic Acid Anti Blemish Purifying Cleansing Wash with Niacinamide (Vitamin B3), Face Cleanser & Face Wash for Clean and Clear Skin & Treat Acne, 150ml

My combination skin generally responds quite well to niacinamide anyway but it was noticeably clearer after using this. The consistency is easy to lather and rinse off. I just wish it came in a pump, but the lid is quite easy to open/close. I've gone back to a cheaper face wash that contains hyaluronic acid and I do have slightly more blemishes now, but I think my skin is slightly softer. Overall, I prefer this one and will probably go back to it next time because in my 40's I don't really want spots and it's the only wash I've found so far that reduced them so it was worth the money in that respect!

Tldr: it works. Yes there was an initial breakout but it’s just drawing out all the gunk and that’s to be expected cos you’re changing skin care routine.I’ve been using this product for a couple of weeks and I think it’s working! (I use this as part of an anti-blemish skin routine so it’s possible any changes to my skin could be due to another product or the combination of them all together)The main type of acne I had previously suffered with was hormonal acne and cysts. So my main concern is to treat the scarring and blemishes from that. I figured I’d suffer a breakout because I’m changing my skin care routine and my skins needs time to adjust. Right now my skin is breaking out. It’s drawn out some possible cystic-like acne spots and that’s to be expected and honestly desired because it’s what it’s meant to do. The general breakouts have been a different type of acne to what I’ve previously experienced, and if left alone and not picked at, goes away nicely.It’s dulled the appearance of the very dark acne scars I have on my cheeks. So with continued use the breakouts should have stopped or at least be a lot less dramatic and the blemishes should be less prominent.The product can leave skin feeling a little dry so properly moisturise afterwards.It is meant to have an orangey and ylang ylang scent and for a face wash it does quite subtly.Considering Salicylic acid has been one of the most talked about and marketed ingredients in skin care for the last year or two, I feel this product is a good value for its price.Most of all, it’s left me feeling comfortable enough to leave the house make up free and less self conscious

I used to use the clear start dermalogica facial wash (which I loved) and wanted to try and find a more cost effective face wash with the same ingredients. I asked ChatGPT and lo and behold they recommended this one. Pleased to say it is very similar and I’ve seen the same consistent improvement in my skin that I saw with dermalogica, but for half the price. Nice foamy wash, so you don’t need to use very much and I’m hoping it will last a long time. My only negative is the smell isn’t as fresh and herbal as my dermalogica one but happy to look past that for the effectiveness .

Refreshes and cleanses my skin. Would recommend.

Gel face wash is good and I prefer this to simple.Leave skin feeling clean, id still use cleansing wipes for make up.A 20p amount does my face, but still need to moisturise.Doesnt leave scum like soapPerfect for an intimate washHappy purchase..

Decent product, but it is highly fragranced and it doesn't foam well.

Great quality purifying wash.Skin doesn't feel tight or dry after using, just feels clean and refreshed without irritation.Its a clear gel, nice consistency, I wouldn't say it lathers/foams up heavily but provides a nice deep clean.Im not a big fan of the smell but its bearable.Nice ingredients and sulfate free.Highly recommend.

Bought this facial cleanser for my second cleanse (I do the double cleansing method on days I wear makeup or SPF). This is a gel cleanser which has a light and refreshing scent that will lightly foam. This cleanser is gentle enough on my skin to be used twice daily and leaves my skin feeling refreshed but not stripped. Texture is pleasant and does not leave my face with a weird film after cleansing like some other cleansers can do. Probably more suitable for normal, combination and oily skins due to the salicylic acid ingredient - dry skin people may find this a tad drying
