Absolutely awesome game! We tried the slow birdie first and it was really good and I thought we moved too quickly to the fast birdie but it was totally doable and even more fun! You will not regret. (I'm 57... and I played with 23 yr old son.)

This is a fun game!! I love real badminton and this is a great alternative. Perfect for beach or backyard. Adults have fun but kids can play easily too. The paddles are just made of wood, not the best quality to last, but the birdies can be hit really far, even with a light freeze.

Buy this! Best game for any age. Can play anywhere and it’s easy. You will not be disappointed.

Goodminton is a great game that kids can learn how to play as young as 5-6. It can be played indoors or out but wind is more of a factor outside. The birdies are durable enough and if a feather falls out they can be either glued back in or stuck back in to make them work again. The rackets do consistently come warped. I imagine this is due to their manufacturing. Plywood, as the paddles are made of, can be warped by placing a strong coating on only 1 side and allowing that to dry. It could also happen if the paddle was coated on both sides I suppose but it seems less likely. Plywood is always layered in odd numbers to maintain the flatness. Something is upsetting the balance of these rackets and warping them. The game still works fine however, regardless of warped paddles.

This is super fun for all skill levels. My brother and I immediately started playing indoors with all kinds of crap around us and it was honestly very viable. Love the size of the paddles, the speeds of the birdies, and how consistently the birdies rotate and travel. I consider this a must-have.

Goodminton really does work. We've been using the whole set for about 2 weeks, and everything feels like it's good quality. The paddles are sturdy but not too heavy, the birdies work great in both indoor and outdoor environments and are capable of reaching very tall heights, and the mesh bag is a sweet addition to have. We've only tried the slow birdies (the longer-feathered ones), but the fast birdies should work about the same. We're just not ready to know how fast the other ones go yet. I recommend playing this game in either a spacious, medium/high ceiling room with no obstructive light fixtures if possible or outside in a nice, open area. I had a hard time playing this against a wall by myself-- the birdie is faster than I can react, and I react pretty quickly. I've played this with my mom and two other friends of mine, and we all have enjoyed it. We're planning on meeting up again to finish our previously interrupted round of Goodminton. :) Overall, the product has done great so far, and I think it's worth the price for the fun it's given and for the quality of the materials.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: My young grandchildren (ages 6 and 9) were coming for a visit from TX and love being outside. We had a BLAST with this set. Believe when it says the feathered birdies have a way of slowing up ever so slightly and allowed us to hit them back for longer play. Very satisfied!

We're fortunate to have a partial wall between our living room and family room with a window-like opening. With a little bit of furniture rearrangement, our family has been able to have epic GOODminton battles without any damage to the house or its contents! The birdies do get a bit sad looking after a short period of time (hence the 4 stars for sturdiness) but that's not surprising since they're made with feathers. Which is why our cats also join in the fun! This has really been a fantastic activity for the entire family (we play two at a time and rotate through everyone). We've spent over an hour sometimes playing this activity. I did purchase the additional container of extra birdies because I was worried the originals would wear out too fast. They're still fine but it's nice to have the option of slow, medium, and fast (although as they wear, they do slow down and fly a little wonky). It's part of the game to have to adjust to whichever birdie someone chooses to play with. We did try it outdoors and it was not nearly as much fun so I can see this continuing as a wonderful family activity during bad weather days or the heat of the summer when no one wants to go outside anyways!

What a fun game to play with the kids!! So easy to bring out and about, and really addictive when you actually get on a roll. Not great in wind, at all. For obvious reasons really. But we still have fun with this every now and again, and I've bought one as a gift before too. Will buy more as gifts as it's fun for kids and adults alike, and is a tech free activity.
