Go! Go! Smart Wheels Police Station Playset

This police station is one of our son's favorite toys (he has another Smart Wheels Park & Learn Deluxe Garage that he loves to play with as well) and he seriously plays with it every day! The station and tracks themselves don't require any batteries or make any noises. However the police care it comes with makes lots of noise and plays songs and it's so great! The police station and tracks are great as well, because each Smart Wheels car has special sensors at the bottom of the car. So when it drives over certain parts of the track the car will make certain noises. When the car drives up to the elevator and gets on it, it makes like a "whoooop" sound like it slid onto the platform. These track pieces you can also combine with other Smart Wheels sets, and they are so much fun! We really like playing with our 18 month old son and this toy, and the Smart Wheels cars too that you can buy more of are totally worth it! We love these and will be buying more sets like it in the future.

Great line of kids toys, especially if you get multiple sets and connect them together (make sure you have a lot of space for multiple sets or are prepared to rearrange and configure them into small racetracks every so often). Many people complain about their toddlers breaking the tracks apart, which is a very true inconvenience for parents BUT it's also a great experience for the toddler as they grow up to learn how to reconstruct the tracks. My son is now starting to play with his smart wheel sets properly and fix them when he accidentally steps on the tracks. The ease with which the tracks come apart is also a pro, considering they can be twisted a bit to make connections "work" :)

Overall I would say that this is a good toy that seems to be fairly durable (which is needed given the intended age group). It allows for some learning while still being fun and challenging (for the younger ages). The recipients really enjoyed playing with it. I marked 1 star off for assembly and instructions. You need to put most of the stickers on the toy yourself and the instructions on where they go plus how things fit together are not the best. We ended up using a combination of the instructions and box to get everything into place but it could have layer out more clearly.

This is SUCH a great toy - so interactive for a 3 year old child. My grandson spent hours playing with this toy when visiting. I bought a bunch of the vtech cars and he had a blast running them down the tracks, up the ramps, again and again. Reminded me of the hot wheels sets that used to occupy my brothers all day. This is the kind of toy that teaches a child how to really play - using imagination and creativity instead of all technology. I plan to add to his collection for Christmas and I know he will be thrilled with them.

I absolutely adore these little Go Go tracks and cars I bought the fire station and the police station. The cars have a sensor on the bottom so when they roll over certain parts of the track it plays phrases or sings little tunes to help teach toddlers. There are so many fun features about these toy tracks, elevators, spinning release etc. you can buy more and create your own. Little city. And I definitely love the fun play and bonding time with my son. Highly recommend as one of Fisher Prices best toys, hands down!!
