I haven't tried any features but the midi controller, but it works very well. it is very confusing to set up for Virtual DJ users, but once its working its very smooth. For set up visit the numark website.

NDX900 is Great
I recieved the item yesterday and hooked it up and WOW! This handles very well and easy to get started with the manual. This is actually the best Numark CD player I have had so far. Even fixed the Key lock (Echoeing issue). I recommend using 2x or 4x when recording music to your Cd's....Most companies that sell the DJ CD players recommend this! Having fun and the pitch is awesome on the blends....I recommend this product!12/12/2014 Still rocking with the NDX900 by Numark. It's been 2 years and they are still performing like new. They hold up well! These are my #1 products for gigs now. I take them on the road all the time. I have also learned how to dub-step with them. pretty cool features in this player for todays demands w/out all the software needed. You can save all your que points on each cd and use the toggle switch when you loop to see how it breaks it down into increments that stay on beat. I bought 2 USB drives 64 Gig and I also use those with it to have various songs if requested on hand. The traktor software works well with it, but you do lose some function when the software is connected. I like using all the features - so I just use Cd's and USB ports for my gigs. I like pure raw talent and physical play (turntable action).

Reasonable Controller if your looking to save some cash!
It has all the inputs such as CD Drive, USB input for harddrives and/or USB Stick.Its a full on MIDI Controller such for programs like Traktor Pro 2, Virtual DJ and possibly Scratch Live (if control cd's are used).If you do not have funds to afford Pioneer CDJs or Denon CDJs then this is the next alternative to your dj'ing/controller needs.If you're buying this used, make sure that the power cord, usb cable and rca cables are provided. You can get the manual at numark.com.
