It came with a yellow stain on the product. Customer service said that it's normal. As per instructions, I soaked it in water for some hours, rinsed again with fresh water and then I used it. It does a good job in filtering bottled water. It takes away the metallic taste which we get in bottled water. It has been more than 6 months and still using it.
