I absolutely ADORE this hair dye! Me and my sister have been using Knight & Wilson for nearly a year now. The colour barely fades over a 6 week period (which is roughly how often we redo it to cover root growth), stays bright regardless of washes. It applies more like a hair mask than a hair dye, so not only does it smell AMAZING, once rinsed out, your hair feels so shiny and soft, even after being bleached prior to the application of the colour. I have used magenta, pink pizazz, tropical aqua and mystic purple from their range, all of which, like this magenta colour, stayed in really well and made my hair feel healthier. 1 pack of this does 1/4 of my hair which is nearly half way down my back in length and about 1/3 of my sisters shoulder length hair, with some left over for the next time we dye. Definitely feel like you get good value for money, it's as good as what you'd expect from a salon, at a fraction of the cost! If you chose to do 2 colours like can be seen with my sisters hair, the only suggestion I'd make is apply the pink first, leave it 10 minutes then apply the other colour to the rest of the hair (this is best applied with a brush rather than just by hand), it gives the pink chance to dye the hair a little so that it isn't cancelled out by the other shade! :)

I must confess I have never heard of Knight and Wilson, so knowing the vibrant colours they do from research, I was looking forward to try the vibrant magenta. Firstly I need to fill you in, how my hair was prior to putting on the semi dye. My natural hair is brown, then had my hair blonde/ white blonde at the salon.... I have regrowth from my scalp naturally, as it has been four weeks since visiting the salon. If you have regrowth of dark hair, this colour will not cover the actual original hair. Magenta is super super bold and bright, however lift my hair up and my roots are dark.. To get the best from the tube, squeeze it all out in a round tub, and Nick a medium bristle clean paint brush, this is so much easier to do the hair. In fact my husband did mine, and as a decorator knew how to dye mine. Ensure it’s swirled around and mixed together well before applying. Also required, lots of towels A plastic bag + peg A non metal comb States to wash hair and towel dry to leave just damp, I only washed my hair the day before so wet mine all over. My husband started at the back as instructions state, then work to the front, ie fringe. I put a plastic bag on my head with a peg to tie, then leave for 30 minutes, the reason for doing this, cooks the hair to enhance the colour. After 30 minutes, rinse the colour off in cold or Luke warm water, I wouldn’t advise using hot water because the colour will fade very fast. Even normal washing every few days, always best in cool water. Set and style as normal All that’s in the box is the colour and a large pair of gloves. Be very careful when using this dye, it’s called dye for a reason. Even my stainless steel sink got dyed, it will dye white ceramic sinks. I placed towels all over the place. My hair is short, one tube of this dye was fine, in fact had some left over, if doing the whole head, and hair is longer I’d recommend two boxes, real long hair then at least three boxes. Decent price, in town shops maybe more There is no conditioner in the box, the Creme suppose to do it all.. I am leaving mine a good few days to settle before washing again Best to do a patch test behind the ear 24 hrs before dyeing hair, best to be safe OTT bright pink hair, best on blonde hair, or dyed blonde hair for total bright pink magenta hair. If hair is another colour, the dye can still be used for a subtle pink, but do not expect bright pink. To get this bright colour use a pre lightener... Got this for my daughter and managed to do my my girls hair underneath with one bottle and they both have long hair. It turned out a lovely colour on both and I’d definitely use it again. It does turn your body pink if you get in the shower while washing it out as I figured out with my youngest m, and also my kitchen sink but that come out with bleach. I’d suggest keeping gloves on when drying your hair if you can as it stains still after the wash.

I will always, without hesitation, recommend this hair dye! It’s consistently perfect for me every time I use it. You get a generous amount of product, so I can use it multiple times over a 4-6 month period, which makes it great value for money. The dye smells amazing, which is a huge bonus, as most hair dyes don’t have the best scent. This dye is more of a colour conditioner rather than a traditional dye with peroxide, so instead of lifting the hair before depositing colour, it simply deposits the colour directly. The result is always vibrant and bright! I bleach my hair beforehand and then use this in the shower like a conditioner, leaving it on for about 10 minutes. After rinsing, the colour is stunning—vibrant, long-lasting, and it doesn’t damage my hair at all. I’ve used both the reds and the pinks, and both are absolutely amazing. This product never disappoints!

Update: Ive also ordered the pink pizzazz and am equally thrilled with the results! Purple: I have been really pleasantly surprised by this dye. The box example colour for dark blonde hair doesn't look very vibrant so I was expecting a muted colour on my natural (undyed) dark brown hair, if anything at all. I have some bleached ends and assumed only that would hold the bright magenta. But it's come out incredibly saturated and covered all over! I washed my hair with shampoo only and then blow dried it so I could dye directly onto dry hair. I used the provided gloves to massage the dye directly into the hair, beginning from the back and working forward like the instructions recommended. When I was finished I covered my head in tin foil and a towel to use the heat from my head to aid development and kept it on for 30 minutes. It took maybe an hour to rinse through with lukewarm water, and still didn't run clear. It stained the bathtub in the process, but with a bit of bleach and scrubbing it'll come away. I have since shampood and conditioned my hair with hot water to try and remove the remaining dye fallout but it still won't run clear. Despite that, the colour hasn't faded much at all. The photos I've uploaded are what my hair looked like before, and what it looks like now after the latest wash. A great result if you want vibrant colour and coverage on dark hair.

as someone who’s tried almost all of the big brains of hair dye, this one is my firm favourite. i absolutely ADORE this brand. they’re long lasting and have absolutely beautiful colours, and the pink is no exception. i dyed my hair about a month ago and the colour hasn’t faded at all (i wash my hair 2-3 times a week). i put this dye on bleached hair (bleached from dark brown using jerome russell 40 vol bleach) and it came out so bright, i get compliments on it everywhere i go! certainly do it if you’re considering it!

I used to dye my hair with imported Manic Panic and Arctic Fox but I think I will stick to this brand in the future. The colour stays for a long time. It's dark and intensive if not diluted. The only thing is it feels dry, like without conditioner in it. The brands I mentioned earlier are more oily. Pay attention to how blue is the indigo colour. It's like blue school pen. My hair is more purple at the ends because I had previously pink hair. Then closer to the roots they become green now. I need to refresh the colour. I wash my hair around 1-2 times per week with SLS shampoo. When I dye it I keep it for 3 hours under foil cap.

I’ve been coloring my hair pink for awhile now and haven’t found ~the~ pink for me until this one. It’s vibrant and gorgeous, easy to apply, and half the price of the other brands I’ve been using (arctic fox, good dye young, etc). I was nervous buying off Amazon but I had no issue at all with the product. I will definitely be repurchasing and I 10/10 recommend
