They really work!!
I've had sesamoiditis for about 10 months now, all from one night in Vegas, roll my eyes! These pads really give me great relief! I wear them especially when I'm headed to the gym and I didn't notice any sensitivity while stair climbing or doing planks which always put my toes in an uncomfortable position. I wear them all the time now and I'm very grateful for the relief. I'm not wearing "supportive" shoes either. I just stick it on my foot right under the offending big toe and wear my Docs or Vans and I'm good to go! UPDATE 2/16/23. I can't live without these now! They are sooo good that I almost forget I have sesamoiditis at all. Just note that you have to always be wearing one. And one lasts about three days before getting less sticky. I am so grateful for these things. Allows me to continue staying active ( though I did throw out all my heels). I'm 5'10 anyway. Who cares.

FINALLY I HAVE RELIEF AND AM BACK TO RUNNING, TRUE STORY.
Have been suffering with increasing discomfort in left toe area from sesamoiditis diagnosed >5 yrs ago. I have been a recreational runner for approx 8 years, but wearing max cush shoes (Hoka Bondi, and most recently Saucony Endorphin Speed 2s which have both been godsends, the latter overtaking HB as my faves) have surprisingly been able to keep routine of 3-5 5K casual loops around Prospect Park. Lately, however, more targeted ache/pain would catch me off guard even when simply walking a few steps in my apartment. For the first time, it began to cause enough discomfort to significantly interfere with my runs, but I did NOT want to give them up as they bring such joy... After watching some youtubes, I decided to try adding inserts to my running shoes that address sesamoid/metatarsal pain, and came upon these Mars Wellness Premium Dancers Pads for Ball of feet Pain - Sesamoiditis Pads and Oh My God ... what a difference, what relief... I truly had low expectations and hopes since this condition is so insidious and finicky and difficult to address and heal.... I got the right footed pads for my left foot after reading reviews and deciding I didn't want the adhesive gooey part sticking to and gucking up my foot. Instead, I put the right pad adhesive side down in my running sock, or flat down on other shoes and alternately remove adhesive and stick to the inside sole of the shoe.... I also read and am VERY THANKFUL TO the review written by Godspeed, who confirmed my own instincts gotten through trial and error, that the most effective way to reduce pain is to NOT put the pad RIGHT BENEATH the problem toe/area, but BENEATH IT, to raise it up, so that the toe, then has less pressure ON IT... I did NOT cut the pad as godspeed demonstrated, instead just pulled the pad down so that the the cutout for the big toe, was pulled down a bit below the ball of the foot, but still in line with the toe. I now use them in that manner within my running shoe SOCK, and adhered directly to the base of a few sandals and other shoes... I have experience such relief and improvement both when walking and certainly when running. Unfortunately, however, if I ever make the mistake to think I have healed the source of the problem and try walking barefoot, YIKES, still that erratic pain/pointed discomfort will catch me.... Until I figure out how to FIX THE CORE problem, THESE PADS ARE AHHHH- mazing. I may even try doubling them even they seem to flatten or wear out with longer term use, especially with the impact of running. I am VERY pleased, VERY surprised, and VERY thankful for these Mars Wellness Premium Dancers Pads for Ball of feet Pain - Sesamoiditis Pads.. Please do NOT EVER STOP MAKING THEM...

protection for foot wound
These pads work well and protect the area of my foot that should not be stepped on, as the dr recommended.

Saved my feet treating sesamoid injury
I damaged my sesamoid joint on bottom of my foot cycling. I bought these to help me recover by distributing weight away from and around the sesamoid joint. Works perfectly. I wear them on injured foot while playing tennis and they stay put. Highly recommend for men or women with sesamoid injury. High quality comfort fix for dames foot.

Put them UNDER your Insole
I found these to help alleviate the metatarsalgia pain in my right foot. However, I didn't like gluing these to the bottom of my foot as the adhesive is very strong, making it difficult to remove them, and they were often of little use once removed. I then tried sticking them to the top of the insole of my shoe, but the right-side pad for my right foot would then be upside down, plus my sock would get stuck to the edges of the pads, so that wasn't a good solution. Then it hit me โ the best way to use these was to remove the insole from my shoe (I use the Spenco Polysorb, which my podiatrist recommended) and glue the pad to the bottom (i.e., underside) of it, then put the insole back in my shoe. That way it's correctly oriented (i.e., right-foot pad is under my right foot), doesn't get stuck to my sock, lasts for a very long time, and provides even more relief from the metatarsal pain.

Helps my foot but
These felt pads are very supportive and have helped reduce the pain I was experiencing. However, peeling the paper off to get to the adhesive is unnecessarily difficult. It always takes a few minutes to find and pull the paper edge. These pads stick really well - sometimes pulling them off my foot isn't easy, but that's not a big deal. I would buy these again.
