Has a nice smell, mint vanilla smell NOT overpowering definitely keeps you dry, you do not smell, and you only need a tiny bit. This product has a small wooden spatula to apply! You need less than a pea size for both arm pits. The price is far…..when I saw the amount I was annoyed thinking I would only get a couple of applications. Well this has lasted me 5 months. You don’t get any sore armpits either. I sweat normally but with no smell. I will always buy this deodorant!

I'm looking to detoxify my life and wanted to move away from deodorant that contains aluminum. I've tried several other products over the last year, and all have failed miserably (even the expensive stuff). For reference, I previously used a name brand deodorant and antiperspirant, and it worked great! If need be, I could go days without reapplying (like when camping) and never had to worry about sweating or stinking with my previous deodorant. With all the natural stuff that I tried, it seemed like I was stinking by mid day! I did some research and came across this as a strong contender for an all-natural replacement for my name brand stuff. I'll be honest, I wasn't happy about the fact that it was a cream (because I was so used to a stick) or that it was a deodorant only, and not an antiperspirant. But it had high ratings, came well recommended, and I thought I'd give one more shot at finding a natural solution. I'm so glad I did! I'll be real, so here's my take: PRODUCT SIZE: When I first got it, I thought I'd burn through it in a week. I've had it for over two months, use it every day, and don't think I'm 1/3 of the way through it yet. So don't get thrown off by the size of the product jar - a little goes a long way! I'm not sure, but I think one jar is on pace to last twice as long as a single stick of my former deodorant. Also, I travel quite a bit and have recently taken several flights with it. It's small enough to pack easily (actually easier than my stick deodorant) and the jar seals tightly so you don't have to worry about it getting on anything. Best traveling full-size deodorant I've had. All-in-all, I would say it is a phenomenal value for the money. APPLICATION: This is not the same experience as stick deodorant. You have to scoop out a little pea size amount with this little wooden "spoon" and then rub it into your armpits. That being said, it's not a big deal at all! And I find it actually easier to avoid getting deodorant on my cloths with this stuff than with stick deodorant. SMELL: It is present - more than my former deodorant - but it is not unpleasant at all. In fact, I actually like it! It's also not overwhelming. My wife couldn't even smell it unless she was intentionally trying to smell my pits (you're welcome for the visual). FEEL: It actually feels really nice! This is probably the area that I like the most about this stuff. Once it's on, you don't notice it at all! Best feeling deodorant I've ever applied. It's not sticky, wet feeling, or gooey. I tried other Aluminum-free deodorants that gummed up my armpit hair and was nearly impossible to wash off in the shower (I know...TMI). Even my former stick deodorant was a bit of a challenge to wash out at times. But this stuff? Easy breezy! Washes off with soap and water almost as easy as it goes on! STAINING: It doesn't. Let me just put that to bed. Yes, it has charcoal, but I live in Arizona, wear white undershirts nearly every day, and I have yet to see a single hint of stain on any of my shirts. SAFETY: It's aluminum-free and all natural. Exactly what I was looking for. It's hard to ask for better. EFFECTIVENESS: It works. I don't know what else to say. That's the most important part anyway, isn't it? I've had to get used to the fact that I now sweat, where I didn't before, but I don't stink when I do. And sweating is actually a healthy thing, so that's not a negative for me. ALUMINUM STUFF vs. ALUMINUM FREE: The biggest difference between my former name-brand stick deodorant and this stuff is that this does need to be applied fresh daily. But that's not a big deal as I typically apply deodorant daily anyway. Even with that fact, this little jar will still outlast my former stick stuff. BOTTOM LINE: I've found my new deodorant for life.

I can't even believe I'm writing this already. I just took delivery on the lavender version day before yesterday. After my shower, I used a SMALL PEA SIZED amount. I tapped it between my fingers, then rubbed it into each armpit. (Note here that I used only the small pea sized amount, split between both pits). I rubbed it in. I wasn't sure if it was enough. Well, yesterday I had some things to do outside. It was 89° with a 105° heat index. It's so humid, you can cut the air with a knife. I was drenched in sweat. Then I cleaned the 2nd floor after fixing dinner, again drenched in sweat. My armpits were definitely damp. I got as close as possible and took a whiff. All I smelled was a light lavender. There was absolutely no body Odor. I used my fingers and rubbed each pit. NO body odor, I mean nothing! I've never had a deodorant work like that. For comparison, the day before I used Secret, just because it was in the cabinet. I started the same job I finished yesterday. I had a slight body odor. I'm sure no one else would have noticed; it was very light,not horrific, but it was present. I've switched to natural deodorants instead of antiperspirants. My husband's armpits kept itching. He hated using deodorant and frankly, he needs them. After I bought a natural deodorant made by Salt and Stone, he liked wearing it and it worked. I've also developed an itch when I use antiperspirants. I tried his Salt and Stone and it worked as well as the Secret, or any other well-known brand names, like Almay. I also tried 3 others, including MagSol and Native. Another was a solid gel, but it didn't work as well as my goto which was Almay Gel. The MagSol worked as well as any other, but the solid is too solid and dry feeling, making it more difficult to use. I found the Native worked the best, lasting 48-72 hours. My only criticism is that it was extremely strong smelling; it's overwhelming. I prefer that my deodorant be very lightly scented, or completely unscented. I was running out of the Native. I wanted to try a cream. I almost bought Lume. My search lead me to this one. The ratings are excellent, so I bought it. I've honestly never used an antiperspirant or deodorant that works this well. I have a degree in biochemistry. I know Magnesium (mg) is in the same chemical category as aluminum. I've used antiperspirants that have Zinc instead of aluminum. They don't work as well. Mg is the working ingredient in all of the natural deodorants that I've tried, and it works as well as aluminum. One of 2 things are happening here: 1. There is a unique combo of ingredients, including the mg, which makes this stand out. Or: 2. The cream form works better than any solid deodorant, because you can really get it onto, and rub it thoroughly into, every area of the armpit. I think it's #2. I had 2 rotator cuff surgeries a year ago on my right shoulder. In one month, I'm scheduled for rotator cuff surgery on the left. My range of notion is very good, considering the damage to both shoulders, but it's not normal. I can't completely lift my arms, so it's harder to apply a solid stick deodorant. My fingers can do a better job, plus I rub it in. A solid deodorant is rubbed on, not in. I think it's the cream presentation that makes this work exceptionally well. Plus the cream just disappears. I can't feel anything there once it's rubbed in. The lavender smell is light and not overwhelming. It's true lavender. It's a lovely clean smell. I will never go back to using a stick deodorant. Unless something changes, this is the deodorant I'll use. It's pricier than the name brands, but remember that you lose at least 25% of a stick, because you can't reach all of it. It'll fall out when you get towards the end, and a bunch is stuck in the applicator. You can get to 100 of a cream, especially when it's in a jar. I have absolutely no intention of trying any other brands of deodorant. I'll add to this review if something changes.

I’m a hormonal/stress (apocrine) sweat person. I’m an anxious, turnt up little freak. I don’t really get wet from sweat I just stink 😭 Tried the “natural” route manyyy times. Apparently for natural deodorant to “work” my pits are supposed to go through a spiritual detox (even after not using aluminum for over almost 2 yrs) involving clay masks, toner and emotional growth to stop stinking 🙄. Hard pass. We just stink. End of story. I already wash and scrub my pits, I just want something that works 😭 This is the first clean/natural deodorant that showed up to the job this early in the game and without the arm pit day spa. The activated charcoal/mint formula did equal if not better than my clinical strength stress deodorant. I shower and put on deodorant before bed. I’m 8 hours PAST when I would normally shower after work (for science) and there is still no smell, nothing is wafting out of my sweatshirt. I still smell clean and minty. Day one it worked til half way thru work and that was 100% user error. I slapped a very conservative amount on bone dry pits. Day two I followed directions (damp/humid pits right after showering, it says use a pea sized amount but I used what I need to use lol). Now I’m past 24 hours deep and still odorless. Suspicious, honestly. No stickiness, no white marks (and I live in black to hide stress sweat). My pits aren’t swollen. If this holds up in summer… I might finally know peace. (See update below) And thanks little seed farm for the little scooper stick! The jar is also thick, heavy glass and very luxe feeling!! 👍 Update: i’ve been using this product line consistently now for months. I’ve even bought three other scents. The vanilla honey is my current favorite! I got the grapefruit lemon after reading people thought it smelled like fruity pebbles, and I can see that, but it’s even better if you mix it with vanilla honey!! 🫠🥴 And I must say, I don’t know what kind of voodoo they did with the charcoal mint, but if there’s a heavy hitter out of the bunch, in my experience it’s that one. But everyone is different. I would give this stuff a solid 8.5–9 out of 10. (No deo I have ever used in my life has been a 10 btw) The only time I struggle, as a lady, is during “shark week.” My hormones and temperature regulation go completely off the rails. To survive it (and I feel like a dirty traitor admitting this😭) I mix any LSF formula 50/50 with Pretty Frank Extra Strength, Unscented (it’s the same style product but its baking soda based). And I’m BO free all day even with wild hormones and hot and cold sweats. Thankfully my pits tolerate baking soda pretty well even though I’d rather avoid it, but if I need it for a few days, then I need it. You can customize the ratios however you want too. Mixing these two gets me results during rough weeks, but the pretty Frank formula is a little greasy by itself because it’s a wax and Shea butter base. But when diluted/mixed, it’s sets pretty quickly. It doesn’t feel funny or uncomfortable, but if you lift up your arm, it might be shiny at first lol it goes away. Not ideal, but not a deal breaker. Especially for the results. Little seed - please do us a solid and reinvent this robust combo!! Or pleaseeee make us your own “extra strength” formula!! 🙏💕 I’d buy it forever. When it’s just heat/summer and not hormones, I get 15–24 hours, same as my old aluminum deo. It never completely fails me either. A huge part of that was a learning how much to apply and making sure I apply to damp/humid pits right after showering. The videos show a veryyyy small pea sized amount, which I did try but it wasn’t right for me. I use about 50% more, still just a thin layer, but enough to actually cover my pit area. I also splurged and bought the bamboo scooper/applicator. It’s nice for getting the product out of the jar and putting it where you want it, but my results are more consistent if I rub it in with my fingers. Maybe the scooper scrapes some off, or maybe my finger body heat helps it melt in… I have no idea. I just know rubbing it in with my fingers keeps working. So glad I came across this brand!

I chose “Activated Charcoal” and it WORKS for me! 2 days if I’m doing nothing and don’t shower. Probably more! This stuff is an amazing deodorant!!! I’m a guy and just wanted something a little more healthy and aluminum free. I’ve tried a few different kinds and this is the best smelling, highest preforming deodorant so far! Higher performance than even my “less healthy” (but trusty) old spice bar! (I mean for me and IMHO of course), everyone is different. I saw a couple others say that this is too strong, and it is (strong-er) at first but definitely NOT too strong through the day. I love it too! It is amazing, but if you wear a deeper or darker separate fragrance? (Cologne) I would suggest unscented. “Activated charcoal” is very “fresh” (even almost minty) and may mix poorly with something like “oud”, “incense” or “spice”(fragrances of a darker variety) like “winter scents”. Sometimes if I don’t work, I’ll take a shower on the second day and on those days it still protects the whole day through! I love that it’s a clean and natural deodorant, that it keeps me fresh all day, comes in a glass jar instead of plastic, smells amazing and goes on like a cream. I selected the “Activated Charcoal” scent after reading the reviews (the rest seemed too girly) and I’m so glad I did! It’s absolutely fantastic and pairs perfectly with my most-used cologne. (Armani Acqua-di-Gio Profondo, edp). So well in fact, I almost wanted to gate-keep it! Lol. ADG-P Is a “blue” fragrance, famous for smelling like a fresh ocean breeze. This deodorant could easily be sold as its accompanying fragrance! I’ve gotten nothing but positive feedback from other guys/girls I’ve showed it to. (My brothers and a handful of friends all envy my Godly aroma). 😂. Really tho, I’ve gotten nothing but VERY positive feedback and compliments (from the ladies especially).😎💪. Lol. (Though), as a construction professional and a bit of a man’s man, I had fun showing all the guys my “crème in a jar” deodorant! Lol I enjoyed the fun poked in my direction too! (They all wanted to know, as work can be close quarters). Some bought jars for “date nights” after that as well. Hey! I’m not taking anything away from this stuff! It deserved the advertising! It keeps me fresh, clean smelling, the girls love it and it mixes excellently with my most used cologne. It’s definitely not “too strong” (unless maybe you’re using it wrong) either. The deodorant does its job for me (and more than does it right). I’m 💯 % satisfied. I apply mine with an ox horn massage tool (it looks like a question mark or shepherds cane with the curl part filled in.) The horn tool makes a really nice applicator! At the time I didn’t see an official one, so I picked that instead after searching “deodorant applicators”. The little popsicle stick (while better than nothing) wasn’t cutting it, so I improvised. It’s easy to wash and looks really cool but I think the bigger “little seed farm” applicator is probably just fine too. The ox-horn isn’t much more money though, and it’s a piece of horn, Not wood! (Honestly, how cool is that)? It’s all sustainably done and cruelty free too. (So no Ox had its head cut off or anything). They actually use horn that might otherwise go to waste. So that was my choice and I definitely recommend it! Anyway, The consistency of the deodorant is just like a thick cream, it doesn’t feel sticky (after it’s applied) but between your fingers it does a bit. It also takes a bit of extra effort to wash it off, (but not much). I think that’s a good thing! I thought this stuff would just soak in and disappear a few hours after putting it on but nooo! In the end, I feel like both those things are “what you want” in a good deodorant! I wear black often and I have yet to see any real stains, (definitely no permanent ones at all) and it also stays where it belongs, even through sweat! I have yet to have any disappointments or find any problems with the product. It has surpassed my expectations in every way. I wish I could speak with more authority on its “value for $” but I’m still on my first jar. IMHO so far though, it’s completely worth the $! The jar does seem to be lasting a decent while! It’s not like my “seemingly” never-ending old spice bar, but (for what this is) it’s definitely worth it. I’ve had it a month and it’s not even half gone. (You really don’t need a lot) just a thin coat. I would certainly happily buy this deodorant again, (absolutely.) I would also definitely recommend this and have already. What was 6 bucks for 4-5 months is now about $15 for 2-3, but Imho it’s totally worth it. I actually bought a stick of “Megaman, Geo Dio” that goes a little further for the money and still smells pretty good for a regular work day, (still aluminum free and natural) but I go half and half, usually I’ll put that on for work, come home, shower and put a very light coat of this on after. (That prevents using it 2x a day, depending on the day) then the little bit after my shower goes a long way for the rest of the night. Weekends I just use it and smell great. (This is a recent experiment so I can’t give specifics as to how “worth it” it is). If it does anything dramatic, I’ll edit again. However if it doesn’t, I really don’t care enough to stop using it or buy anything else. One way or another, I’m a customer for life now I think. (Barring any severe unforeseen economic circumstances). Still I’d buy a jar and use it on special occasions/weekends or something. I’ll be sure to report if my experiment saves any money though! Same as before I highly recommend this just like it is! -One other edit, I’ve tried the unscented version for using darker cologne fragrances and I’m happy to report that while it smells very little at all on its own, it still keeps you smelling fresh all day and more! It doesn’t interfere (whatsoever) with other fragrances, it just prevents any stink at all! So your chosen fragrance isn’t mixing with anything or covering anything up. I’m not sure if it’s also good for 2 (whole) days but I’d definitely guess that it would be!. (Another excellent product)! I definitely recommend it for darker scents in winter or for anytime you want to smell as fresh as possible without scent or interfering with any other fragrance at all (at any time of year). 👍. In that sense, it’s even better than “Activated Charcoal”! I just don’t think I’d use it without another fragrance of one variety or another. It’s definitely as “unscented” as a deodorant comes. (There is just a tad of an ultra light sort of oddly sweet smell) but nobody would ever pick up on it without their nose in the jar! The nice thing is that all of these must have serious antibacterial properties! It’s unbelievable that it could just prevent (any) pit smell whatsoever for even a day! Much less more! And they do! Most all other deodorants just cover it up! This stuff is truly the gold standard. Once again I hope this helps someone make their decision, best luck and God bless!

I’ve tried so many natural deodorant and this brand is great. I never need to reapply or notice any BO getting through even after long summer days. I didn’t love the cedar vanilla scent but loving the rosemary patchouli so far. works well with my sensitive skin, is easy to use being a paste, and is cheaper than many others I’ve tried.

I LOVE this deodorant. When I first had my daughter a few years ago, I tried so many different "non-toxic" brands. I was motivated by the fact that I noticed milk glands in my armpits, and I didn't want any unhealthy chemicals put on my skin directly on top of those glands. Little seed farm has ingredients that I feel safe putting on my skin as a pregnant and breastfeeding mom. I've bought the fragrance-free and lavender versions, and I loved them both. I love that it doesn't contain aluminum or artificial fragrances. It's a small jar, but it lasts me about 6 weeks. I can probably extend how long it lasts, but I tend to over apply. However, I never smell. It works so much better than the other brands I've bought, and six weeks is actually longer than I get with other brands. Between the peace of mind the the length of time I use the jar, I think the value is great. It even held up well during the birth of my second child.

Love this -- the scent is incredible and it works well, especially since it doesn't contain Sodium Bicarbonate or similar (which is great for those of us who are allergic to it). I only need a large pea-sized amount for each armpit. I've tried a lot of natural deos and this is my current favourite.
