The secret that your stylist DOES want you to know!
First off, let me start by saying that I NEVER wrote reviews for products!! This, however, absolutely deserves the highest review possible! My stylist recommended this product to me when she was coloring my hair, and I initially had a hard time justifying paying that much for a bottle of conditioner. Boy, am I ever glad I decided to splurge and buy it!!! (A huge thank you to Sara if she's reading this!) This product is FABULOUS!!! ABSOLUTELY worth every penny!! I apply it to clean dry hair about every 2-3 weeks (it would be much less frequent, but I can't stand not washing my hair every day) and leave it in for a few hours. I just pile my hair on top of my head and clip it there, and then I'm free to do the mundane things like housework and meal prep. A quick rinse, and it looks just as vibrant as the day I walked out if the salon! That alone makes this magic purple potion worth it's weight in gold, but then let's talk about how ridiculously SOFT this stuff makes your hair! Even using it as directed and only leaving it in for a few minutes, my hair never felt so silky and luxurious! This is definitely a game changer, and I'll be buying it again!

Hot pink highlights
The color turned out wonderful on my balayage blonde highlights. I haven’t dyed my hair in about 8 months so the hot pink color turned out like hot pink highlights from where the blonde had grown out. That’s exactly how I wanted this color to appear and I’m impressed with how well it turned out.

Actually works! (Red for brunettes)
I was a bit apprehensive on how effective this would be, and I am pleasantly surprised! Red is a hard color to maintain, it fades super fast. This conditioner works great to keep the vibrancy. I use it once a week and the color keeps all week. I actually see the shampoo lather tinted pink all week! (Tells me the color is still on my hair ;) )Things to note: You want to keep it on your hair for a few minutes to be really effective. I put the conditioner on, then wash my body to give it some time to sit. I rinse it out as the last step of my shower.IT WILL stain your hands if you are not careful. As soon as I put it in my hair, I rinse off as much of the conditioner off my hands as I can, then take a bit of shampoo and really work up a strong lather in my hands to wash the color off my hands. I have been able to avoid staining my hands this way.Last, do not use your "nice" towels when drying your hair. As I said above, the color still washes out all week, so if you are using a nice towel, you will see some staining on your towels for a while.

Good at keeping my purple overtones bright between salon visits.
I have dark brown hair and my stylist dyes it with purple and red overtones to give it some variety and pizzazz. The purple always fades before my next salon visit and I'm left with the red which gets a little brassy. She recommended this conditioner to keep the purple bright and it's been working great.I've been using it for a few months and it does keep the purple overtones- it's not super obvious or distracting, especially indoors- outdoors it's brighter and has more pop. I get a lot of compliments on my color much further from my salon visits now.It does temporarily stain hands and white tile and towels, but it washes out right away.

JUST GET IT! Here's why...
This might be long, but bare with me because it's worth it and will probably answer a lot of questions about the product. I rarely am pleased enough with a product to do a review but if I am I make sure it's thorough! So a while back I am about to have my first boy and want to put some blue in my hair for my maternity photos, 3 stylists later and a bunch of mess ups and I have to settle on an oil rainbow style. To do this my whole head was bleached. I have my baby and after recovery my hair is crap where all the colors were except purple, my purple still looks awesome. So instead of going back to brown I decide to get crazy and do my whole head purple. (First row of photos is the day of and after getting my hair done at the salon.) My hair was not bleached a second time, purple was just put over the faded color but it still looked amazing.Fast forward to 4 months later and I have had faded purple hair for a while. (Second row of pictures.) As you can see it was now almost a light magenta and some spots were yellowish and some were back to blonde. I don't want to go to the salon every couple of months so I decide to just get a brown box dye off Amazon. I search and this product pops up. I read all the reviews and don't believe them but I love my purple hair so I decide to try and if it doesn't work then I'll go back to brown.2 days later my product arrives, and after reading all the reviews I can stand and all the info under the questions area, I use it. I chose the conditioner over the shampoo because I have dry ends and that's where it was going. I put it on dry hair, it probably took 15 minutes to get it everywhere. I was not able to comb thru it like others say they did, it just made knots when I tried. I did have gloves on so I just massaged it in everywhere until I was covered. I then left it sit for 20 minutes or so. I jumped into the shower and it still felt a little dry for me so I used a tiny bit of my biolage color care shampoo and very quickly rubbed it in and rinsed. I followed that with my cleansing all natural conditioner and then my regular conditioner sat on it while I finished my shower. The last row of photos is my result after that initial use.All I can say is holy freaking crap I cannot believe how well it worked. I've told and showed probably 7 people in just the first 24 hours what this product has done for me. Now mind you this was probably almost 7 months after my initial bleaching, two fashion color dye jobs, and 4 months of fading before I found this to try it. It has not only made my hair feel and smell amazing but my color is possibly better than the day I left the salon! Everyone who has asked about it is now going to get it, since they have fashion colors and natural colors, to use on their hair! DO NOT let the negative reviews get to you, this product is meant for professionally bleach treated or blond dyed hair! You must have had that as a base at some point and those with negative reviews seem to be ones who didn't know it's not meant for natural hair. It can't stick to natural hair! If you have not had your hair bleached or dyed a shade of blond by a stylist or professional kit it will not work for you! However, if you have, this is a GAME CHANGER! I will not be going back to brown. I'll stick to having my hair bleached once a year or so and using this product!I have not had it on long enough to know how long it will last. With how great it turned out the first use I don't want it any darker so I won't use it again until the color turns back to that pinkish magenta in the second row of pictures. When that time comes, I'll update my review with how long it lasted and add pictures. If you are thinking of getting this and have had your hair treated with a bleach kit or have had it dyed blond, this is the product for you! It seriously works, I still can't believe it and all the people who see me daily are all getting their owe bottle already! GET IT! You won't be sorry!

Pricey
Does the job but very expensive. I can get it much cheaper at beauty supply stores.

Great color intensity!
Worked amazingly! Great color. Lasted a good amount of time. I did have to do several applications to get the depth of color I wanted. It does bleed red everywhere so watch out for that but I will buy again, worth it

Wonderful!
Love it! My highlights really pop and I constantly get asked if I just dyed my hair. I did, however, notice an increase in my hair loss.
