Quick replacement for Klipsch Promedia 2.1
My subwoofer foam tore up so instead of paying 22 bucks for the foam and glue to replace it, I bought this instead. Super easy to install, and should take no more than 10 minutes. Just remove the grill with a flathead then unscrew the 4 screws on the speaker. You have to bend the terminals to a 45-degree angle so you'll need some pliers. The left lead fits perfectly but the right side is smaller so you'll need some pliers to widen it. I used 2 pliers, one to hold it while I used the other to pry it wider. I then slipped it onto the terminal as normal and it's a nice tight fit and won't budge. It screws into the same holes perfectly too. The woofer sounds really good. I think it's louder than the original Klipsch but as some others noted, you need to play music through it for a couple hours and it will sound better. On fast sharp sharp-hitting bass notes, it feels punchier but on the deep drawn-out bass hits, it's not as smooth and you can notice a slight rattle. Should be more durable than the Klipsch since the core is made of plastic and the "foam ring" is made of rubber.

Klipsch Promedia 2.1 easy fix
5 Stars for being what it is- a reasonably priced replacement for the woofer in the Klipsch Promedia 2.1 system. Installation is super easy. I used some metal snips to cut one of the speaker spades roughly in half, close enough without measuring that the smaller (positive?) lead fit snugly. The black plastic ring from the original speaker can be pried away from the old speaker and reused, the existing screws are long enough. Be careful tightening them, go for just a bit of resistance, if any. I managed to make one "crack". Frequency response, freshly installed, falls off very quickly below about 45hz. I haven't done any "critical" listening with it because, well, this isn't exactly that type of speaker system. Quick tip: the black fabric(?) ring between the speaker and the box can be held in place with a couple of small pieces of electrical tape, taping it to the box. Also, installing 2 screws through the plastic frame and speaker will make installation/lining up the holes easier. I did not remove the side panel/plate for the install, just unscrewed the speaker.

Good Speaker for the Money
The speaker has a flaw, if you will, in the center as shown in the photo. I hope this will not eventually affect the sound. For now it's fine and the sound quality is fair. The holes lined up perfect with the speaker case I was using. I think for the money it's not a bad deal. In the Q&A there was a question about negative and positive connections. The wires are both the same color but if you look closely, there is a + and - by the wire connectors. Hope this helps. I needed my 300 readers to see them. lol

So far I'm very impressed!
This was bought to replace the subwoofer that came in my Klipsch THX computer sound system. The original speaker was paper with foam around the edges, and it just disintegrated into pieces but the regular speakers for the vocals are still great. I know that this is common on most cheap subwoofers, but I was expecting something a little better coming from Klipsch. The overall fit was excellent, and the screw holes lined up perfectly. The original speaker grill doesn't fit but if you remove the trim ring from the old subwoofer, you can get the grill to fit. The sound quality from this subwoofer is amazing and the materials the sub is made out of is by far superior to the original.

Seriously, at $25 a pop, I don't see what beats them soundly until you go up to about $80.
I built a set of high end towers with these speakers and they did not disappoint. I was concerned at first that they would lack the bass needed since they were going to be used exclusively as sub woofers, but they came through. I have these in a 3 way configuration, with a crossover at 800Hz. All these do is bass and some very low end vocals. They do it well too. These can rattle my windows. Of course there's a limit to them, they are only 6.5", so you can't turn them up as loud as a 10" or 12" subwoofer and expect them not to start distorting. Even so, they can still get extremely loud with heavy bass, so unless you're planning on playing them in large halls or venues, they'll more than suffice at home. The sound can go very deep, rated at 29Hz and I do not doubt it. I played several songs that go very low and these had no issues reproducing deep bass at loud volumes. The bass is also tight, punchy, and accurate, not bloated. Seriously, at $25 a pop, I don't see what beats them soundly until you go up to about $80.

Good sound great price Klipsch woofer replacements.
Good sounding for a great price. I used these to replace the 6.5 woofers out of a Klipsch Promedia v.2-400. They have the same response frequencies as the original woofers, but can handle more power as they are 8ohm instead of the originals' 6ohm. Allegedly, you have to run the speakers for a 2 week brack in. I did not seem to need to as they sounded great out of the box. If you use these to replace your Klipsh speakers, please note: You will need to trim the black wire end to fit the connection. Renewed the life of a 25 year old 4.1 surround speaker set.

Another great replacement for the Klipsch Pro Media Subwoofer
I looked at so many different speakers. Not sure which one would be a good replacement for my Klipsch subwoofer that disintegrated. This speaker sounds amazing. Takes a few hours to get broken in but I think it sounds even better than the original. Good Rating for whats needed. One thing to note is you will need a new plug thing for the negative terminal since its larger than the orignal. Then you may need to bend the plugs to get it to fit inside the sub without touching the wood. Extremely happy overall. Its crisp, loud, has good range and response. Highly recommend!

Good speaker
Problem.... It feels that it sounds better than the original. I am under strong impression that I should buy a second one to match the other speaker. Will watch for a sale or something๐๐๐

Not very resistant
The speakers sound good but they don't stand the proof of time seeing one of the speakers is half blown
