They are pretty to look at.
They are fairly thin and the heat can be felt through them fairly quickly. The dishcloth absorbs very little but can be used as an additional potholder if folded a couple of times.

not good for anything over 200 degrees
I was taking something out of the oven and was using the oven mitt. I burned my hands. Didn't leave a mark but it was enough to stop using it
