I normally wear both nines and 9 1/2 depending on the shoe. These running shoes are 9 1/2. The tin was way too wide. The nine fits perfectly. These shoes are comfortable. They are definitely flats with no arch support, but you could put an arch support in them if you needed to. The material is soft. The shoes do not look cheap although they are not genuine leather I bought them so I only have to bring one pair of dress shoes on our cruise. I feel you could wear these for casual or dress. I have severe bunions on both feet. These shoes cover my bunions and don’t put undue pressure on them. I rated them before because it’s hard to find the right size… I think it depends on your foot shape. I noticed some people were saying they fit small. I always go bigger when told to do so because of my bunions. In this case, I did not need to go bigger. I typically lean towards 9 1/2 in most of my shoes.
