The material is heavier than the typical backpack from, say, Walmart. I also really like the pocket inside the big pocket. it's a flat pocket along the back of the backpack and is perfect for flat folders or paperback books. I gave it 3 stars because on day the 3rd day of school my son came home with a broken zipper on the top pocket on the front. My husband was able to it, but it's disappointing that it broke that quickly. (My son wasn't even using that pocket for anything). ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The material seems ok & it looks cool since my son love baseball *by M***A on August 6, 2018* I was a little upset thinking the small Baseball hat coin was missing & was replaced with another pouch (that i didn’t like) but it was a gift - which is a bonus because i can use it for myself) the Baseball cap WAS indeed inse the bag in the one of the small compartment which i did not open. So i changed the rating Frm 3 to 5 because that was the only thing got me disappointed... so all this to say I LOVE the bag & so did my son (he loves & plays baseball).
