brillant colors great images
pieces fit well however tricky shapes took me almost completing the puzzle before I found the last edge piece

Our daughter loved it
I selected this puzzle because the picture was done by the original book jacket cover artist for the series. Our daughter opened it up on Christmas and said, “This is awesome! And look! It’s done by the same person who did the art for the book jackets!” Very happy to see her so happy!

Challenging, but lovely puzzle!
I'm a bit of puzzle newbie, so this puzzle took a while, I found the pieces super oddly shaped, and there is a LOT of blue and purple. The art is gorgeous and I had a lot of fun putting it together!

Great color, size of piece excellent, my only complaint is one piece is missing.

Challenging but Enjoyable
The pieces in this puzzle are not cut to your typical puzzle-piece shapes. There are a lot of odd cuts and it makes it more challenging than other puzzles. I actually enjoyed the challenge, but disliked that there were too many pieces shaped like edge pieces that WEREN'T actually edge pieces.Overall, though, this was a fun puzzle and I loved the challenge and that I wasn't able to complete it as quickly as other puzzles. The artwork is beautiful too.

Beware of what you buy!
I did read the reviews, but I should have reread them!!!! I did ask the question on how many pieces you actually receive 500 or 1,000. The answer was truthfully 1,000. But, with that being said it is not the same puzzle pictured in the description. First of all it’s a white( not red) box. It is a cropped version. On the back of the box, it has pictures of this puzzle (white boxes) and other puzzles in this series. The picture on the back of the box shows a full (not cropped) picture. Very disappointed!!

Picture Cropped To Be Portrait - Not As Pictured
I was hoping this was a 1000 piece puzzle, exactly as pictured on the box (despite it being 500 pieces). I have no idea why they would crop out all the Christmas from the puzzle just to make the orientation portrait. I tend to avoid portrait puzzles in general, so this is a complete miss for me. I love Harry Potter. I love Christmas. I don't love the cropping of the picture on this puzzle. Please give us the entire image!
