These are perfect for clipping on top of your prescription lenses! I bought these and the wraparound sunglasses (BESGOODS YELLOW NIGHT VISION) - and the wraparounds created some double-vision of bright lights because the sunglass lenses don't touch my prescription lenses. These touch the prescription lenses (gently - not scratching anything!) and I had no doubles of bright lights. So, these were next to try: I do find the clips themselves to be a bit annoying in my vision - but not so much that I won't wear these. I wore them for a long drive to/from far north Texas, about 2 1/2 hours each way, and it was a real change. I no longer had to squint to avoid oncoming headlight glare. Interestingly, they don't seem quite as yellow when one looks at the person wearing them... I'm wondering if I could get away with these at work? (You know, computer glare....) . I'll be buying another set now so I have a duplicate/emergency set! How wonderful.....

I have used clip-on sun gasses episodically for years in situations where I will be going back and forth between indoor and outdoor lighting--far easier to take the clip-ons on and off then having to carry both regular prescription glasses and prescription sun glasses and switching those back and forth. At the same time I have always worried about scratching the lens on my glasses and taking clip-ons on and off remains a pain, so I have frequently quit using them and simply suffer in one lighting situation or the other. I have also tried flip ups thinking they would be the perfect solution but the hinges never stood up to use and I still worried about scratching my lenses. Tried these and find them to be the perfect solution. The rubber on the attachment point protects my glasses and the lens of the flip-ups are slightly separated from my glasses so they don't scratch. Some have complained that the latter allows sunlight in under certain conditions but I have not found that to be a problem. As for the reliability of the hinges, I recently completed a 1,800 mile bike tour and wore these every day, frequently flipping them up or down depending on conditions. No problems at all and they even stayed in a horizontal position when going downhill at speeds over 20 miles an hour. I must like them as I now own three of them stashed in different places.

I purchased this clip-on flip sunglasses for occasional driving while wearing my regular (corrective) glasses in early August. And I used it 2-3 times. Here are sum of pros and cons based on 2-3 times usages. Pros: 1. Large enough clip-on part which can fit onto thick frame. After I ordered it at Amazon, I happened to stop by CVS where there were several available clip-on sunglasses. I tried one, but it did not fit onto my corrective glasses because my frame was a bit thick. So I was a bit worried, but when I got this one, it fitted well with my corrective glasses. I also have no problem with flipping it. 2. Sturdy clip-on part. One thing that I worried while I was reading reviews was that "the clip-on part is not strong, and it breaks after several usages." However, this one has a metal clip-on which seems to be strong enough. Note that I only used it 2-3 times, so I will update the review if it breaks down. 3. No scratch on my corrective lens. 4. Very light weight Cons: 1. Size (height) is not large enough. I checked the width before making purchase decision, so I knew that it will cover my corrective glasses on both sides. However, when it comes to the height, it barely meets the end of the lens, not the end of the frame. Note that this "con" highly depends on your own corrective glasses. It barely meets mine, but this product may perfectly fit onto yours. Overall, I like this product so far, and I recommend this product especially for those of you who has thick frame glasses. It fits onto my corrective glasses well (but not perfectly), and it is light-weighted so that I don't feel uncomfortable while driving.

First off, the brand name is Careview, and it's less expensive if you search for that first. All in all, this is a cheap alternative to not being able to see anything in your lane while headlights are blinding you, and it might even be handy in the workplace when those intense cheap indoor bulbs start burning into a migraine. It makes things easier on the eyes, and that's about it. On my end, I'm no longer blinded by headlights at night (I haven't used them in any normal day weather yet), and yes, all whitish objects now become a rich yellow. No, it does not brighten your vision or remove glare. It doesn't advertise anti-glare anywhere on the product. From my observation, it tints, and your eyes don't have to work as hard because there is no adjusting from retina-blasting white to gentler-on-eyes yellow. It does not change the color of important road signs or lights to any extent that you can't see them in time. Anything bright you can see just as well with the glasses. Again, all it does is tint things with yellow; white-to-light whitish to yellow; dark blue to dark bluish-green. Reds are still red, yellows are still yellow. You can still see all street lights and road signs in their colors as easily. If anything, colors seem richer but not brighter. No Anti-Glare: Such glasses are affordable because of this but as a result have ghostly reflections AT NIGHT from every headlight, lamp, street sign, you name it. If your prescription glasses are coated with anti-glare, you will need to get used to these ghostly reflections swooping across your vision constantly, just above the source. I found them startling and heavily distracting at first. I'm now heavily considering a prescription pair instead, but this will hold me over while I decide over such an expensive leap. Overcast Snowy Days: My first recent experience was extremely positive and surprising. I didn't expect to believe people who said these were handy in overcast snowy driving, but it's true. I was in my car, waiting for it to warm up to get home safe, and a thin blanket of flurries had accumulated. Donning the glasses on a lark, I was shocked that I could see past the flurries extremely well to the scenery beyond. Driving, I noticed my windshield had fogged up, but I could still see beyond perfectly well. Flipping the glasses up, I couldn't explain to myself why this was, as things didn't seem to change, save for there now being bluish white snow instead of yellow-tinted, yet somehow details of cars and trees became far more obvious. Without the foggy windshield, things were even better. One merely curious thing to note is how yellow specific windows on people's cars were. It's just a curious unintentional sight, but one I found odd enough to mention, as their windows weren't tinted when this was noticed. If you see this too, not to worry, you're not crazy. ;) Brand Comparison: I bought this Careview product first and then went to buy another pair at the local Bed Bath & Beyond ("Turn Night into Bright," As Seen on TV" $10) to compare. The Careview version sold here on Amazon is superior for what it offers, and I returned the other after just trying it on in the parking lot. Careview's arrived in bubblewrap though, compared to the Bed Bath version in a very sturdy box, but Careview's came with a cleaning cloth big enough to wrap your glasses in, a drawstring baggy and a polarization testing card. Bed Bath's came in a plastic reclosable bag. Careview's test card works, and the shining rag is nice, but I keep it in my old glasses case to avoid real damage. Careview's looks delicate compared to Bed Bath's version, thinner plastic, but it is far lighter, flexible, and the clip-on is metal and sturdy, despite being lighter. Bed Bath's version's clip on feels cheap. Worse, Bed Bath's version swivels all over my glasses, but Careview's clips on smoothly and strongly with the rubber tips. That said, the cold clip-on will be touching your face most of the time and makes you feel like hair is hanging in your face but looks no sillier than the Bed Bath version. I've since dismantled and redesigned Careview's to be magnetic, since I've no desire to remove them until I'm home and will be removing the clip-on anyway. The Claims: I've read speculation from fearful people that say it actually impairs your vision. I've read the comments that thank them for saving them ten bucks. They might be right, might be wrong. I took a minor financial leap by actually making my own decision after a test. I saw those image comparisons on some boxes where night on one side, the photo is dark and murky, but then suddenly BLASTS INTO GOLDEN LIGHT VISIBILITY ON THE OTHER IMAGE!! Holy wow! Why doesn't NASA know about this?! Yeah, it's a flat-out lie. I've corrected photos professionally and know that it takes five seconds in PhotoShop and a handoff to the boss to get that ad looking like it sells something even the army would love to have in its budget. The Careview product does not make this claim. Oddly enough, that other "As Seen on TV" Bed Bath brand of this product was horribly sub-par compared to the Careview version in every way. The claims may warn us away from yellow-tint glasses, but from my experiences above, they're an asset for folks who are worse off with bluish or intense white light. Three Stars: So why the three stars? Well, the clip-on is still a terrible design for any brand that uses it, a cross-eye distraction, and for a product that is used for night driving by so many people, the glare ghosting is a big distracting issue while on the road as well. It's very useful, but I think the design still has a ways to go, and if it were perfect, I for one would gladly pay the extra for anti-glare and improved clip comfort.

These glasses are fantastic cuts the glare ,I can see where the golf ball goes, I can drive directly towards the sun in my car the reflection of the dashboard on the windshield disappears I recommend these glasses there fantastic. Price is Right too

I bought these on a whim because I thought I had lost a cheap pair from online. I found the old pair but I have finding I only use these. They are great. Real crisp and clear. The color was recommended by a doctor for me to use to help filter light from reaching my eyes that was bothering me while driving. They are a little brighter than the grey clip ons but they seem to work a lot better than any other ones I've previously tried. If you require glasses 24/7 this is worth getting. The lens flip up if you have to reach for something in the car or walk indoors. But they don't pop out in front of your rx glasses so you can wear them in public and not look like a tourist or someone with no fashion sense. I don't have fashion sense but I also don't notice people giving me funny looks with these clip ons like they used to do with my cheaper pair.

I absolutely love these clip ons. I use them for driving and I honestly don't know how I got this far without them. I used to put my sunglasses over the regular glasses and it sucked because it obviously wasn't a perfect fit and didn't offer complete protection. It was also very annoying having two sets of glasses on my face, as it looked ridiculous. These clip ons are just amazing. It takes some getting used to at first simply because its a little extra weight on your face, but you get used it very quickly. And the protection they offer is superb. I can look almost directly into the bright sun with these. They give everything a cooler hue and my eyes feel so much better. I lost my first pair a few weeks ago and bought a second immediately. They're super cheap and super effective, one of the best value items I've ever purchased on Amazon. Truth in advertising is a wonderful thing.

This is my second pair. I like the glass and would have give them a higher rating but three of the four rubber grips that are on the clip came off my last pair. I will glue these on!

The product does not fit or function as advertised based on the information provided in the listing. While the listed dimensions may be accurate, the design is flawed when installed on eyeglasses. The listing also fails to disclose the height, coverage, or positioning of the clip-on lenses once attached. When the clip-ons are manually aligned with the top of my prescription eyeglasses before the clip is engaged, they appear to be the correct size. However, once attached, the design causes them to sit noticeably higher, leaving a significant portion of the lower section of my eyeglasses uncovered. As a result, the product does not provide the level of coverage a reasonable customer would expect based on the dimensions shown in the listing. The lens material is extremely thin and flimsy, resulting in a product quality that is not commensurate to the price. I was able to purchase an alternative product that provides both significantly a better fit and is much sturdier.
