## Description

The Aspartame powder is low calorie sweetener. Aspartame is a dipeptide which is composed of amino acid methyl ester aspartic acid and phenylalanine. Note: Because Aspartame’s breakdown products include phenylalanine, aspartame must be avoided by people with the genetic condition phenylketonuria (PKU). Generally Suggested Use: This pure Aspartame powder is very concentrate sweet. 1 gram of the powder equal to about 0.44 pounds sugar; 28 grams (1 oz) of the powder equal to about 12 pounds sugar. Since the dose is so small for your sweet purpose, its calorie can be negligible. To take 1/32 teaspoon of this powder (about 35mg) mix in food products, drinks, or beverage; or take out some amount as desired and mix into water to dilute its sweet intensity. If you want to accurately weigh dose amount, an accurate balance (0.01g-1g) is recommended. Or do your own research for use amount, and your own usage purpose. Please consult with doctor before taking Aspartame. The ADI (Acceptable Daily Intake) for aspartame has been set 50mg per kilogram ( mg/kg) of body weight. Do not exceed 3.0 g per day. Do not take aspartame if you have Phenylketonuria( PKU).

Review: Possibly much healthier than other artificial sweeteners - I recommend this product highly to normal people, unless you have the rare metabolic disease, PKU, otherwise known as phenylketonuria. This product has the advantage of being PURE aspartame and of breaking down in the stomach into amino acids which are harmless to normal people. Thus it is more similar to natural sugar than other artificial sweeteners, in that like them, it does not remain to pass through the entire GI system. Other artificial sweeteners do not do that, and continue to stimulate taste buds throughout the entire GI system. Yes, there are taste buds throughout the ENTIRE GI system, and their function is unknown at present. Furthermore, it does appear from recent scientific research that artificial sweeteners that do not break down in the stomach have unhealthy and negative metabolic effects, promoting obesity. While I have read a complaint that this product does not dissolve easily, I have found that it instantly dissolves into a volume of WARM fluids. When I have placed it into a SMALL quantity of COLD fluid, such as a wet glass, otherwise empty, it crystalizes into a form resistant to dissolving.

A fine powder, contains all the sweet taste of aspartame without the packet. Supplement this with 1/32 teaspoons. Caveat: Aspartame does not dissolve easily in cold liquid unless it is fairly acidic. Phenylketoneurics (they know who they are) don't use this.
