Great cups! Totally leak-proof and easy for little hands.
Honestly, I was a bit skeptical at first, but these have been a lifesaver. They are truly spill-proof—my toddler has dropped them on the hardwood floor multiple times, and not a single leak! The handles are perfect for tiny hands to grab, and they're super easy to clean. Definitely worth every penny. Will buy again!

Stands the test of a toddler - but maybe not the test of travel
These are our go-to sippy cups for mealtimes with our 1 year old. She learned to use them very quickly and the weighted straw allows her to always get the liquid. However, when we've packed this sippy cup up with liquid when on-the-go, we find the liquid spills out of the straw the second the cap is released - leaving me to believe it gets pressurized easily. So heads up this may not be good on a plane. Also, the straw parts sometimes seem to align imperfectly causing more resistance/air to the stream of liquid. It is hard to tell sometimes when this has happened but usually the cue is my baby girl getting frustrated. I then have to try the straw myself to see if it is working properly. To fix it, I just undo the lid and wiggle the straw a bit - not sure what exactly happens. Pros: simple design, stands being thrown and dropped with minimal loss of liquid | easy to learn Cons: consists of a few parts that take up room in the dishwasher/make it harder to clean by hand | use on a plane is not suggested due to pressure causing liquid to come out of straw once cap is released | Straw can sometimes get a little wonky and needs some jiggling to make the liquid flow easier Conclusion: Even given the cons, I find this the best weighted straw sippy cup on the market. It does not leak out the sides if turned any which way. It does not leak or come apart when thrown across the room, and it has been easy for my 1 year old to learn to use herself. It has checked most of the boxes better than other options.

Great concept, good for younger babies
The idea is great, but probably best for younger children. I got them when my daughter was about 16 months old, and they were great at the time. A few months in she started pushing the straw into the cup, which causes the contents to spill easily. It's also a bit difficult to get the lid aligned with the graphic for those who care about that! It's a great concept and might make a great first sippy cup for a younger baby. The weighted straw functions perfectly.

Just buy it... glad I did!
After buying 1-2 of almost every type of cup (sippy cups, 360 cups, munchkin straw cup, and these), this was the best purchase. The straw has definitely been a better success than the sippy or 360 cup, so here's my two cents on the two best straw cups. Compared to the Munchkin cup: The MamaBear wins the price competition, and coming in a 2-pack was just a nice convenience. Cleaning is about the same for both, but the MamaBear has the edge. I feel like the MamaBear is actually easer to get completely clean because the straw piece comes apart at the top. Milk drains out quickly and easily as soon as the pieces are disconnected, and shorter straw-type pieces are easier to clean than the longer full-length straw on the Munchkin that doesn't come apart. It also dries quicker than the Munchkin, which isn't a huge deal when you have them on rotation every couple of days anyway. Other MamaBear wins: ounce markings on the cup so I actually know how much is being consumed; the flip top on the MamaBear is more sturdy than the Munchkin slide open top that pops open every time my child throws his cup; and I am not a fan of the "click-lock" of the Munchkin because one of my two is defective and doesn't click (not great odds for them). Spills/leaks are pretty good with both (except on the one Munchkin cup that doesn't click-lock properly). Any straw cup will hold a bit of milk in the top of the straw, but other than that, it's not been an issue. Clearly I am a fan of these over the munchkin brand cups...I have 2 of each, and I definitely prefer these. My son loves both, so that matters too. Also, I overanalyzed and looked at like 100 cups. I wish I'd just started here, so hopefully I can save someone else the time and effort...just buy these!

Need to rethink opening button chamber
I LOVE LOVE this cups, so much I purchased them twice within 2 months, once in April and then again in May, they are spill proof, they have held remarcably well to the destructive power that is my 2yo son, and in fact I already used their 1 year waranty on one of the purchases beacuse my son open and closes the cap so often it was getting a bit difficult for him to open easily since the cap no longer "springed" open on its own. I gave this cups 3 stars because they need to think of a diferent way for the straw to rest when the cap is closed, where it rests right now is right on top of where the locking mechanism for the cap is, meaning that whatever liquid is left in the straw will slowly leak into the opening button chamber and there is no way of cleaning in there, causing mold to form, they advise on the instructions not to boil, which I did any ways and still wasn't able to get rid of the mold behind the opening button.(pictures) Also I feel they need to come in another color as I like to have a cup for water, one for milk and one for juice and labeling them don't work since my son rips off whatever label I place on them, and sharpie wears off after a 6 or 7 washes. Other than that the inside does not get stains cleans super easy, the straw and spill proof feature still work like a charm.

These are the perfect cups for babies to learn to drink from a straw. Easy to remove parts and clean and put back together. We love them

Can’t recommend these
After using these cups for more than 4 years, I’ve realized they are not something I will continue to buy. Straw cups were recommended by our child’s speech pathologist to improve muscle strength in our child’s mouth & help with speech, so I used these for many years thinking they were great. Enter the Dr. Brown’s straw cup, & suddenly these are not quite so great to me. For one, the main issue we’ve had over the years is black mold forming behind the button, as milk would drip from the straw & build up in that area, & it is impossible to clean behind the button (it was honestly nasty). This has required us to toss out so many cups & replace. Great for Amazon, not so great for our wallet. This last round of cups was even worse, as you can see the top doesn’t shut well, & is almost impossible to open. I tried to return & Amazon was refusing to return, as I had opened the packaging (sort of a necessary step to find out something is defective). I had to call customer service, & even they were hesitant to help me because I had opened them. It definitely made me hesitant to continue using Amazon brand products, as it didn’t seem like they were all too willing to stand behind them. My suggestion, skip the mama bear cups & go straight to Dr. Brown’s cups. They are easy to clean thoroughly (no black mold ever), & easy to open (my child who is under two can figure it out & help himself to water when he needs it). An added plus, the Dr. Brown’s cups were actually cheaper when I got them!
