Amazing sound, arrived in mint condition
Amazing quality sound. My unit arrived in mint condition. Probably because I see lots of complaints around the net concerning rumbling/voices from subwoofer. Turn off bass extension and fine tune the equalizer settings, problem is solved in five seconds. Games, movies, music, TV shows all sound great. Mine arrived with current firmware (Virtual X Surround) and all accessories in original packaging. Very happy with this sound bar and got it for a steal! Will be rocking this for a long time. It is loud and very clear even at high volume. I keep the volume at about 20/100 to keep the windows from rattling. The Witcher 3 on PS4 is much more immersive with this sound system. Highly recommended for home theater system. Would buy it again if I needed to.

Recommend for under $200
As advertised. All works great. The sound is not bouncing off the ceiling, though. That’s the effect I was really looking forward to from a sound bar. But great quality sound for the price (I paid just under $200). Highly recommend.

Decent sound
Don't expect a theatre sound stage from this. This is very affordable for the quality, but I disliked how you needed an HDMI to connect to the controls. Also bluetooth isn't APTx so the sound lags.

Just Died
My sound bar decided to not turn on anymore. I believe it is out of warranty, I purchased it on 6Jan2019. This is pretty sad, that I pay $250 for a sound bar and it dies after 2 years 3 months. I actually really liked the sound bar, I had no issues at all with it until it died with no warning. The owners manual says that if you can't turn the sound bar on, to unplug it from the wall and call Yamaha Service. Since it is out of warranty by 3 months, I guess I will have to look at other options out there other than Yamaha.

Very good sound
Awesome sound, at first I bought a JBL and return it and get this one. Surprised the effectiveness on this product. If you like Base this is it for you for the 2.1 speakers. It voice enhancement feature very useful to just watch news and other shows, I use high Base when I watch Dolby Digital Movies.

Quality product, fair price!
Excellent product, very good/accurate sound reproduction. I purchased a used-like new unit; the only issue I had was, the remote for the unit didnt come in the packaging. I had to purchase a remote separately. Amazon was very understanding and reimbursed me for the cost of the replacement remote control.

Ok, so this soundbar and sub work well. The different modes it has are good. The ARC HDMI function works perfectly well. Sound fills the room.Great for movies and gamingGreat for a Spotify listen to.
