The whole assembly (if you use all three rings at once) may feel a little flimsy, but it is well designed and well made. Everything locks in place well, contacts on the lenses and the camera itself match, so I am happy.

Works as it describes!

Worked for about 5 minutes and caused a fuse to blow in my Canon 5D mark I.

These tubes are fun. Don't worry about having to use the focus ring as the depth of field is so small you can focus by moving the camera itself, and an inch or so will do the trick. If you look at the horse fly you can see the wings are in focus while the eyes are a bit out. That's a narrow DOF right there. You can also buy a t-ring with the right filter thread of the lens you have and the right mount on the other side, so as to mount it backwards on your camera. Sounds crazy but it works and cheaper too. lots of macro stuff on you tube to learn different techniques.

I bought these for use with my Olympus OM-D EM1-MkIII camera and the excellent Olympus M4/3 60mm f/2.8 Macro Lens. First, these extension tubes are finished with a polished, shiny black finish inside, where the light passes through. This creates "lens" flare that is impossible to correct for, unless you cover the shiny metal with a flat black substance. Unbelievably poor design. Secondly, the contacts did not work for autofocus or transmitting any other information to the camera. They might as well have been, would have been better as, "dumb" extension tubes with no pretense of automatic operation on any level. Third, the electronic contact pins protrude too far, locking themselves in position on my otherwise excellent Meike extension tube. This awful Viltrox tube, which blocks communication between the camera and lens, ruins anything shot through it, has mated with the Meike tube and will not release. I will probably be able to extricate it by inserting a thin blade between them, but this is one of the worst products I have experienced in 64 years of serious photography.

The packaging is dented. Delivery of my purchase is very long. I am not happy with the store and will not recommend it to my friends.

I thought I would take a chance of getting these extension rings rather the purchasing a proper macro lens. I was pleasantly surprised that they worked very well. I have used each as individual and in combination of twos, but I wouldn't recommend three together, not because they do not work its more because you have to be very close to the subject (on my Canon 700D with its standard lens). They do also work in a fashion with my Sigma telephoto with has macro function.
