Rooted fig cuttings
Well, I bought 2 cuttings. I he sent me 6!, sweet, and they already have roots on the cuttings. He just did most of the work and then took the rooted trees and pulled them out of the dirt and sent me the rooted cuttings. Not sure how good that is on the now rooted plant to be pulled out of the soil and shipped. But I will tell u this I got 6! Lively cuttings. All with roots, and leafs on a few. I think the seller was trying to give 100%. What more could u ask for. Also I contacted the seller and they where most helpful.Update: Sadly none of the 6 made it. I'm a fig collector and going to try this again. Stay tuned lol

Looking forward to munching on these figs!!
Out of all the fig tree cuttings I've received, these are the only ones that didn't have a moist paper towel or newspaper to keep them from drying out. But they came so quickly, that it wasn't a problem. That said, they are nice size and and I expect that they will be getting roots any day now. Then I'll plant them all into clear containers (32oz.) that I got from a restraunt supply online.I have them wrapped in barely damp paper towels so they don't mildew, in a gallon zip lock bag on top of my fridge where it's warm and out of direct light!. Soon they will be in the 32oz cups with Perlite that has been moistened first because it wants to repel the water. This is so that you can see the root system developing or not. When the cup is nicely full, repot it to a planter with holes until the roots are coming out of the holes. It's up to you whether you upgrade to a gallon pot then ect. from there. Mine are going to stay in pots so I can put them in the garage in case we get a repeat long freeze like this winter. I thought I was going to have to put long johns on my chickens. but a heat lamp did fine. I would buy more from this seller in a heartbeat. Every fig grower has their own way of doing things

Looked healthy when I received it, followed instructions to the letter, however it never took root and I still don't have a fig. I'll try again next Spring, as I really want a fig tree for my patio

Pieces vs. buds and a rude seller.
When buying cuttings, as a first timer, the terms can be a little confusing. This product was listed not as pieces, but as the amount of buds included on each cutting (3x). When I sent feedback on how this was unclear as to the pcs - I received this, among other lines I cannot include here - comparing me to a 2nd grader."Remove your child feedback please -you lowered my score .I think I do not deserve it.Or are you my competitor??"I did notice, the listing was changed to clearer terms. That was good, but I could have done without the insulting rant.
