Dry Skin Cream Rich Hydrating Skin Cream, 3.9 Oz (Pack of 1)

I have come to realize over time that I have normal to dry, sensitive and acne prone skin. While this isn't something I can use twice a day, I can safely use it liberally in the mornings without breaking out - and my skin has a beautiful dewy look. One of the very few chemical or natural moisturizers that have worked for me without breaking me out (and I have used many over the last couple years), along with Vaseline Cocoa Radiant Lotion (that big brown pump bottle) and Cerave in a tub. I have tried natural oils on damp or wet skin, and they never were able to properly moisturize my skin, causing me to eventually break out. On its own without putting on any type of sunscreen or moisturizer, my skin would never break out with pretty much any soap. However because I use sunscreen now (Elta Md UV Daily) I have had to figure out a routine that doesn't break me out. Down to how many times I can use soap in the day, what type of soap works with my moisturizer and sunscreen (I need moisturizer with my zinc oxide sunscreen, or I will break out), etc. By the way, for those breaking out with sunscreen, it could also be because waterproof sunscreen doesn't suit your face. That is what I figured out for myself too. So here is the winter or summer routine I found, that lets me use (non-waterproof) sunscreen daily without breaking out or needing any benzoyl peroxide or specific acne fighters (every element is important in this routine, I have found, down to the soap choice or even when I can put moisturizer on): 1) Use Ponds dry skin cream in the morning. 2) Wait for it to absorb (I vary the amount depending on how much time I have, but a moderate amount doesn't take more than half an hour. A little amount, which is also sufficient to moisturize well without breaking out, should be under 10 minutes). 3) Put on Elta MD UV Daily sunscreen lotion. If the amount of Ponds wasn't too much, it should sink and be invisible pretty soon. I don't reapply, since I spend much time indoors in my job during the week, and wear hats when I go out if it is still sunny (during the week) and during the weekends. 4) In the evening, put on Ponds Cold Cream. Rinse a little, or don't rinse. Put on Dove Sensitive Skin liquid Body Soap on the cold cream covered, or rinsed face. Rinse the Dove soap. Put on a little more soap and rinse again. Don't put on moisturizer. When I hit the shower in the morning, I might splash water on my face and whatever water falls there, falls there. But I don't need to wet my face at all, and regardless, the water exposure or cleaning (or anything from shampoos or conditioners - I use shampoo and rinse conditioner once a week, pump conditioners on my lower hair away from my face more often) doesn't break me out. Personally though, I prefer even my showers in the evening. For my forehead, in the evenings I just use cold cream to wipe off the sunscreen (or sunscreen plus Ponds dry skin cream, but I don't really need to use the cream on my forehead in the morning since it is not breaking out and seems well moisturized with just the cold cream usage) with a piece of washable cloth. I don't use water there, apart from whatever falls on it during my morning or evening shower. No breakouts and this routine saves time in the evenings (annoying to clean the forehead over the sink lol). I am enjoying not having to worry about acne anymore, as well as being able to use sunscreen and moisturize my skin to prevent aging.

I've been dealing with dry skin for a couple of years now, particularly between my eyebrows. I decided to get serious about doing something about it and research some different moisturizer options. After reading a ton of reviews in products I consider my price range, I wound up here. I've been using this for less than 24 hours (about 2 applications -- before bed, before makeup) and have already noticed the dry, flaky skin between my eyebrows is no longer dry and flaky. Just like that. It works. The tub is also a great size and based on how little of this product I have to use for each application, I imagine it will last me a very long time. I also have skin that I'd call mildly sensitive as in I'm prone to itching with certain products and soaps. I've noticed no irritation with this as of yet. There are some cons, though not enough to make me drop a star. One, it does feel very heavy immediately after application. But that goes away within a reasonable amount of time when the moisture absorbs into the skin. Two, it doesn't smell that nice. I don't really want a scented product because I do have somewhat sensitive skin, but the scent of this is sort of.. unpleasant. Like the heaviness though, that doesn't linger long. All that said, I find the cons well worth if for the fact that the product has already proven itself to work in barely a day.

My Mother used POND'S exclusively her entire life, & had beautiful skin to the end. Luckily, she passed on many skin-care tips. Even though I've used countless other brands, I always return to PONDS. WHY? Because it's the richest, creamiest, most-softening cream ever! Not to mention the best bang for your buck. To keep it bacteria free, I scoop out 1/2 - 1 teaspoon per use, & love the way it quickly penetrates into my face, neck & hands. Never do I see a white film, which means the cream isn't penetrating. Tapping it lightly (never pulling) with my ring finger in & around my under-eye area works magic! Not only does it work great as a night cream -- it serves as my Eye Cream as well. Being thick & extra rich, I apply lightly & blot before using as a moisturizer under makeup. At 85, I don't have the first crows foot, & my entire family (including grown granddaughters) brag constantly on my skin. I've always been . . . and always will be vain about my skin; therefore, I spend what it takes for results. Luckily, it's reasonably priced, because I literally slather it on. Then, by gently massaging in layer after layer (for deeper penetration) always produces smooth, unwrinkled skin. At my age, I decided to finally toot POND's horn, giving credit where credit is due. Once again, they've earned a five (5) star rating!!! (And I take my ratings seriously, as should everyone!) Thanks bunches!

So I get really dry around my forehead,hairline and the space between the side of your nose and edge of your inner-cheek? I've been looking for a moisturizer after trying a few with tons of disappointment til now. Clean & Clear I've discovered SUCKS. It burns and doesn't hydrate your skin at all and leaves your skin red in areas. Neutrogena at least the moisturizer I used took TONS to keep my skin hydrated just for a SHORT while and I mean TONS. It took forever to sink into my skin and left me feeling oily until I patted it a bit after applying so much but it was NEEDED. Pond's is not only more affordable than the other two by a little bit but . . . it's unscented I think? I smell nothing. It absorbed into my skin pretty quickly and I feel like there is more in the container. To top it off, most importantly . . . it works. I don't need to apply more than twice a day (sometimes only once.) where with the others I had to touch up 6 times a day because they were so bad. ) Pond's gave me no redness, no oiliness, no break outs, smoothed and soothed my skin and its dryness for less than $5 and didn't burn or have an obnoxious scent. IF you can find something better you probably spent a lot or made a shady and questionable deal with a leprechaun.

I’ve been using this for years & it’s a must in the winter time for my face & keeps it from drying out. The jars were a bit smaller than I expected so I like that there’s 2 of them.

I started using this on my arms and legs once to twice a day, initially, because my skin was so dry! Now I use it once a day fairly religiously. My skin has totally changed for this old lady! While I cannot promise all your wrinkles will go away, they are better when hydrated with this Pond's line of cream. I use Rejuveness for my face at night and, sometimes the Crema S for my face and total skin application in the morning. But this cream for dry skin can be used any time and it is the best-smelling of the three in the Pond's brand! Definitely worth a try if you have dry skin because of air conditioning woes or, now, as the winter season starts to wreak havoc with dry heating in your home. Your skin takes a toll. I first started using Pond's cold cream 50 years ago as a make-up remover working in the theatre and it has always been the best in cleaning my face. Now, I am using all Pond's creams and my skin feels so much better! Thanks, Pond's, for a great product line of creams!

This has been my go to for years, especially as my skin has gotten older. They have good choices. Company has been around since my grandmother was using it.

Love it. It keeps my skin soft and moist, and it is not sticky. Has been in my cabinet as a staple for my skin for over thirty years. And the price is reasonable.

Compramos estas cremas para mi suegra y termino con los ojos inchados y en el centro de salud..la foto anexa. Los 2 potes de crema C llegaron sin sello de seguridad, pensamos que era lo normal hasta que vimos como se le ponia los parpados! La crema se la hecho en la cara y en el cuerpo lo le ocasiono esa reaccion alergica que se ve en la foto. No puedo vivir sin esta crema. Mi piel es bastante sensible y esta es la única crema que no me irrita la piel, además hidrata muy bien y tiene un olor muy suave y delicado.
