ACDelco Gold 17960BF1 (19360062) Bonded Rear Drum Brake Shoe Set

Brake shoes fit just fine. Were identical to the old ones. The pin on the parking brake shoe fit into the top hole on the new brake shoes on both sides just fine also. I didn't have to drill the hole out like I have seen on other reviews. I recommend ordering a spring kit if you haven' changed the drum brakes out in over 5 years or more. I did, but I reused the springs with the lock cap built into them because the new ones have separate locking caps and were a pain to do by myself (needed three hands). As far as how long they last, I cannot comment on that at this time. Don't forget to check the adjusters to make sure they are not stuck and don't forget to use white grease, so you won't have any squealing. I gave it three stars, not because of the part, but just because it is never fun messing with brake drums.

Was the correct size for my 2008 Chevy Silverado. What we call a direct fit.

They appear to be just like the original brake shoes only with a protective coating on the metal (not the pads) and it fit well but I actually won't know how good the pads are for another 100,000 miles or sooner. I did have one issue with the adjuster (gear wheal end) needing a little force to make it move all the way into the slot on the brake shoe. This could have been because of the brake hardware I bought. Either way it didn't take much force to make it slide all the way back into the inner part of the brake shoe. However until I found it was the problem I could not fit the new drum over the brake shoes.

Replaced the drum brakes with these and there was no issues with fitment or noise after replacing

This is the second set of shoes that I ordered for my truck. The first set fit fine and lasted a couple years, I do a lot of towing with my truck. This second set did not go in far enough for the new ac delco drums to fit over them. Yes the wheel cylinder was in all the way and the adjuster was in all the way and even with it removed. The new drums or the old ones would not go on, The stamped metal part was just too big. I had to grind the stops down to match the old ones for the drum to go on then adjust them out. I could have sent them back but I didn’t want to wait for new ones.

Park cable clip holes to small with the coating they put on, once filed down slightly they fit and move as they should/ do on original shoes
