LUCID 4 Inch Ventilated Memory Foam Mattress Topper - 3-Year Warranty - Twin

At first it looked like it wasn't going to match my mattress size. But after about 10 hours of letting it fluff up it fit perfect. Not to mention that I had the most comfortable and sound sleep of my life! This thing is amazing! Any one who likes a soft bed needs to get one! And they come in 1, 2, 3, & 4inch thickness. So it's great for a little soft or really soft. I got the 4 inch and it's the BEST!!!! I woke up and didn't have any back pain for once!!!! Thumbs up all the way! I love it! Thank you for selling such a wonderfully made quality product and at a great price too!

I am so glad I got this! If you are desperate for a good night sleep due to back pain, get this! I have a lot of problems right now, including a bad back and a bad shoulder (no need to go into details "bad" says it all). My sleep number just wasn't working. I'd either sink into it, or feel like I was sleeping on a board. I'd wake up in so much pain I could barely breathe. And all night long I would toss and turn; it has been very painful. I actually dreaded going to sleep at night. When I got this, I only noticed a light smell during the time I was letting it expand (and it wasn't bad at all), and haven't smelled anything since I've been sleeping on it. I was so impatient, but I did wait about 35 hours before I slept on it. I actually stayed in the same position all night, and never woke up! When I got up I couldn't believe I didn't have pain in my back. I didn't have trouble breathing, I wasn't in pain at all during the night. By about 5 days sleeping on this, my shoulder hasn't hurt as much either. I think it's because I'm not tossing and turning and ending up sleeping on it. I don't know about side sleepers, but for back sleepers this works! I have unfortunately gained weight over the past year due to back problems, so I would recommend this for heavy set people. The 4 inch is just perfect. I rarely write reviews, but I'm hoping this will help people like me, who need relief from back pain.

When I took it out of the box I was a little nervous because of how compacted it comes in the package. I laid it out as it said to do, and went to work. When I came home it had taken form and was nice and flat laid out so I was pleasantly surprised. It is very comfortable and my pregnant wife is loving sleeping in our bed now. It does have a scent to it but after a few days it is becoming more faint. My wife who has the nose of a bloodhound, for some reason can't smell it at all! Overall very happy with the purchase and am sleeping well. One thing I didn't think about is to be aware of the size of your bedding. This is adding 4 inches so our sheets and comforter don't quite fit the same.

I searched and searched reading descriptions and reviews and finally decided on this topper. I'm so glad I did! It came in a large heavy box but it was no trouble for my husband and son to take it upstairs to the guest room. It was tightly wrapped, no damage or stains. We all wanted to watch as we opened it to see how flat it was and watch it bloom to full size. As soon as the wrapper was opened the topper flopped out and was instantly full size! NO ODOR at all. I layed down on it just on the floor and it was very comfortable by itself! We put it on top of the mattress and made up the bed. About 3 days later our guests slept on it and they said it was very comfortable and slept great on it! Great purchase. Will be purchasing more for our own beds.

Bought this mattress topper to replace our old 3" memory foam topper. The key thing to know: it is VERY firm. It was not like the memory foam we're used to, where your hand print will last a while then disappear. We mostly lay on top of this, with just minimal sinking in. It doesn't conform to our bodies like the old one did. I find myself waking frequently during the night on this topper, when I didn't have that problem before. I have had back/neck pains after a night on this. My wife has had the same experience. Last night she gave up and slept on the recliner in the living room. I also found this topper to be very hot despite the "ventilation"; I found myself sweating during the night, even though I'd never had that problem with our previous "non-ventilated" 3" topper. We'll try to return this if we can figure out how. More details: it came quickly in a box that was approximately 33"x15"x15" for our queen size. It was severely compressed and folded. I laid it flat on the floor and despite the original severe fold it expanded to correct size in about 24 hrs, with no evidence that it was ever folded. (See attached "original" and "final" pictures.) I waited the full 48 hrs that they recommend anyway. There was some outgassing and smell, but by the time we put it on the bed two days later it wasn't too bad. A couple of weeks later there is still some minimal smell if you put your nose close to it, but not a problem. As other reviews have stated, it is yellow with fewer bigger holes, nothing like the pictures. Why doesn't the seller simply post an accurate picture of their product? Not hard to do! It is a solid 4" thick block of (what they call) memory foam, not a hybrid with layers of different foam or gel. Bottom line: we'll return it if we can. (At $160 we can't afford to eat the cost!) Only order this if you want a REALLY firm foam that doesn't act much like "normal" memory foam. Not at all what we need, unfortunately. Update: SO...you tried a mattress topper and hated it. But it has expanded dramatically and no longer fits in the box. How do you return it? Here's what I did, successfully. First, go to Amazon and tell them you want to return it, and give your valid reasons for doing so, and tell them you'd like to have UPS pick it up. They'll respond with a note confirming the pickup and a tracking number. (I also asked Amazon to call me and they did so immediately (!) so I could confirm everything.) Get heavy plastic sheeting--I got a roll of 4 mil plastic, 10'x25' for about $10 at WalMart. Lay the topper flat on the floor (not on the plastic yet) and roll it up as best you can. I tied mine with twine at two places to keep it rolled. I inserted a copy of the Amazon return instructions with my name/address and the tracking number, just in case. Lay the roll on the flat plastic and roll it with at least two thicknesses of the plastic. Cut it off, and then duct tape the heck out of it. Make sure that all loose pieces of plastic are taped down, and put several lengths of tape around the whole thing to keep it from unrolling in transit. There's a picture below of what mine looked like. The UPS guy/gal will bring the address label to attach, and give you a receipt. Later the same day mine was picked up, I received an email from Amazon saying that my credit card had been credited the full amount of the purchase. I did not pay shipping, my only cost was the plastic and duct tape. I am amazed--and delighted--that Amazon was so willing to let me return this topper, despite the obvious problems with shipping it. received this on Thurs. and slept on it for the first time Sat. night... unrolled from pkg. and it quickly expanded to full 4 inches with no wrinkles, buldges etc... it had a faint odor to it but after a day it was gone... it cradles your body and feels like sleeping on a cloud. We had a pillowtop mattress that has been uncomfortable since the day we bought it and I have a bad back, my husband has a shattered shoulder and bad hip...we bought this to put on top of the old mattress and it made it 100% comfortable... for the first time in 5 years I am able to wake up and crawl out of bed without any back pain and my husband is the same way. So glad that we went with this vs paying 5-600 for a new mattress. Well worth the money and great quality

I bought this 4 inch topper around 2017-2018 for the first time and it was truly miraculous for my back. I have significant lower back pain after an injury and surgery, and I could not find a mattress that didn’t cause me to wake up in pain. However, this topper provided me with amazing relief from day one and up until about a month ago when it just didn’t offer the same support/comfort. For the cost, I would say getting 5 years out of this thing was worth it many times over. Because of my previous experience, I didn’t hesitate or even look for anything else when I needed a replacement (2023). I ordered it fairly confidently, but with some skepticism knowing how companies will often change to cheaper materials. I hoped this want the case, but it appears to be. This new topper is nothing like the old one; I sink right into it to the mattress underneath and wake up with terrible back pain. The color is white instead of yellow now, which I have no idea of the significance in relation to the difference, but it is the case nonetheless. I am extremely disappointed with this topper and I’m now forced to go back to the drawing board to try and find something that works as well as the old version of this does. I would avoid looking at the older reviews on this that rave about it; particularly in relation to the relief of back pain. The current topper is now where near the same experience. I would not recommend this at all unless you are a fan of sinking to the bottom until you hit the mattress underneath. Very disappointed that they changed this up so much.

This product is extremely comfortable and the material appears to be of high quality. I've only used it for about a week so I can't comment on the durability. The foam feels balanced in terms of softness/firmness. 4 inches is definitely the way to go if you weigh more than 150 pounds. I feel like 3 inches would not suffice for my 170 pound frame, so if you are unsure.. spend the money to get the extra inch. The chemical smell is obviously strong at first but dissipates quickly and is not noticeable after few days. After placing my bed cover and sheets, I do not smell it unless I put my face right on the foam. This was a great improvement on my previous 2-inch foam topper. I have noticed I fall asleep faster and stay asleep longer when using this product. A+++

I've had my memory foam topper for about a month now, and I couldn't be happier. My mattress was just a piece of crap, but it was free, and I was in a tight bind at the time. Finally, I just got fed up with waking up with sore shoulder and lower back. After a few weeks of research, I decided this topper was the way to go. I am so happy I bought it. The first night I slept so well! I can't remember the last time I slept this well for this long. Every single night is a good sleep. This topper saves you from having to spend ten times more money on a new mattress. The smell didn't really bother me. The first two days it had a "new car" smell, and then it was gone. I also didn't let it air out or fully expand as the directions say. I opened it when I got home from work, and slept on it that night - and it was totally fine. I was happy to find that my sheets fit over it just fine as well. I was worried, because it is four inches thick, and I thought for sure I would have to find extra deep sheets, but my regular sheets fit over it perfectly.

Purchased this product for a guest fold out bed. It was the perfect size and width. Very comfortable. It took much longer than the 48 hours advised to completely expand once it was out of the box. I think it took nearly 5 days in total. Delivery was fast and as promised. Very happy with this product - great product for a very good price!

A couple of years ago we bought a high-quality mattress, but it turned out to be a bit too firm so I would toss and turn from side to side throughout the night. Someone suggested a memory-foam mattress topper so I researched several brands and thicknesses. In August 2014 we bought this mattress topper and I never slept better. Around April 2015 our elderly cat made a mess on the bed and it soaked into the topper. No amount of cleaning would get rid of the smell so we had to throw the topper out. I lasted two days on the bare mattress before buying this exact same topper. It broke my heart having to replace it so soon, but I couldn't get a good night's sleep without it. First-time buyers: Don't worry about the strong latex smell. Air out the topper for about 24 hours and the smell will be greatly reduced. We started using the toppers the second night after unpacking.

Very nice item, smell went away fast, item as described, but was too stiff, couldn't sleep on it, was comfy in a sense, but no sleep, ended up cutting it up and using it for other things. Hopefully other users enjoy it better then i did.

Mattress topper arrived very quickly. Opened it up and let the memory foam take shape. Although the instructions say let it rest for 48 hours after unpacking I put it on my bed after 24 hours. By 24 hours the memory foam was the four inches and looked like it was good to go. Put it on my bed and hopped in. Amazing!!! The four inch foam pad is dense so it doesn't feel too soft and I didn't get the sinking and flattened situation I have had when trying other lower quality toppers. I'm 130 pounds and have the perfect amount of support. Memory foam shapes to my body and fills in all the gaps when lying down. I used to have tremendous lower back pain lying on my back as my back didn't lay flat. The memory fo fixed that issue
