It works extremely well on concrete, I haven't tried to work on metal so I can't say how well it works for that. It's impact strength is pretty good it nearly embedded itself into the concrete I was trying to chip away at. It has a decent weight and for me I was getting a bit tired around the end of the duty cycle of my air compressor which I would say makes it pretty good.
