Synthetic fertilizers kill the soil food web and really should never be used. I have used this for years and it never fails to deliver healthy plants. Applying organic fertilizer is the most environmentally friendly thing you can do for your landscape.

My plants are doing way better. They all look so good and healthy. When mixing it stinks a little but it goes right away.

Make no mistake - you do not want to touch it. Haha. I’ve set this up on a timer drip system for landscaping and garden now in two different properties. It’s amazing stuff. Plants loooove it. Water early morning for just 10 minutes and within a week, plants take off. Now it’s set to water it in every 3 days. Just remember - it smells horrid - so do not plan to touch it and then not scrub yourself down (which is why ours is on an automated drip system). Have recommended it to friends and everyone has had amazing results. They have a smaller size if you want to try it out but I’m sure once you set it up so you don’t have to touch it, you’ll be hooked too. Happy gardening!

I used to buy this brand's other product, the combined Fish and Seaweed liquid fertilizer. Buying the fish fertilizer and kelp fertilizer separately really helps you customize which nutrients to feed your soil/plants at various life stages. For this fish fertilizer, it is mild but plants actually love that in a fertilizer! Fish hydrolysate(what this product is) is actually supplying your plants with an abundance of amino acids. For the supplied amino acids, your plant now gets to skip making their own (which requires time and energy) and will graciously take this free energy and food and flourish! You don't have to worry about burning your plants with this product. I use it either every third or fourth watering for seedlings. I like to also use this brand's seaweed (or is it kelp?) Liquid in conjunction usually. This helps prevent any early issues and gives the plants a great start, and it's so gentle you don't have to worry about overdoing it and causing issues with young seedlings. I can't think of other fertilizers that you can apply to very young plants and not have to worry about overdoing things. If you applied even heavily diluted synthetic fertilizer you could easily burn your plants or kill seedlings. This is why so many experienced gardeners will tell you to use a weak soil and don't fertilize for quite some time until your seedlings are more established. This product is an exception to that rule because it is natural and gentle. For more established plants I would use this product in conjunction with higher strength organic fertilizers. Probably the most natural way to give your plants nutrients would be to top dress some organic fertilizer and add this product to your water and water those amendments in. I haven't discovered a time when this product causes any issues at all, and the plants seem to love it!

Stinky, but good for leaf growth! It felt like I refreshed my plants in 24 hrs

Like I said, my plants went nuts. They blossomed. I had zucchinis and squash and tomatoes all over the place. It also helps that I had pretty loamy soil. I followed the directions and I watered my plants with this fertilizer. I put 1/4 cup per gallon of water in my watering can and then there was magic. This was my first year gardening and I had planted early in the season, and my friend sent me photos of her garden, and she already started having fruiting. I was a little envious. What was I doing wrong? I asked her why her garden was starting to be so successful when mine was not and she recommended this stuff I said “no way, you want me to put FISH on my vegetables, what?” She was right. I am so grateful that I followed her advice. I will warn y’all though, I have two cats and they are always on the lookout to get this stuff because it smells amazing to them. So if you have fur babies, lock it up.

Feeds the plants. Good response form garden plants. Strong fish smell but when mixed not too bad. Good product although pricey.I would recommend for garden plants.
