Big mistake. I liked them for steadying myself getting in and out of shower, but recently my husband started to slip when entering the shower, he grabbed one of these, and it came off in his hand as he fell….hard! Thank goodness he wasn’t hurt badly but he was pretty bruised. (He is a pretty fit man of average weight.). We immediately took them off and had real grab bars installed by a plumber. It was expensive, but hey, a new hip is more expensive.
