Skin Food Lip Butter, 0.27 Ounce, Plant Rich Moisturizing Lip Care with Sunflower Seed Oil, Chamomile and Calendula

I have used this Weleda lip balm for years! Beeswax and other chapsticks have always made my lips break out and never truly moisturize them. This lip balm has been the best for my sensitive skin that is prone to drying out. It makes my lips look and feel so soft and smooth! No real scent to it, which I like. Not super sticky or oily, it’s mostly just smooth and absorbs nicely. And it’s very affordable compared to other brands.

I’d seen this brand at Whole Foods a bunch of times and finally decided to try the lip balm. It’s now one of my favorites. It has a slightly yellow tint and a thinner consistency than Vaseline, and it sinks into my lips really nicely. I also love the subtle herbal scent. I put on a thick layer every night before bed, and it’s become part of my bedtime routine. I’d definitely buy a bigger size if they made one!

.....And it feels buttery, softens lips. I use at night. Makes lips soft. I'm starting to use more and more Waleda products and loving them! Only downfall is that I don't believe it has sunscreen in it. No matter for ne since I use at night.

I have lately been using other Weleda products in the skin food line and they have been superb moisturizers for face and body (especially hands). I've been shocked to read that some people haven't cared for the smell. Since I almost never have allergic reactions to skin care products, I PREFER the those I use to be scented. I remember one moisturizer I had that smelled like yellow cake batter. My husband and I used to scrap over it, we both loved it so much! Then they changed the formula to unscented, and we stopped buying it and changed to something else. These Weleda moisturizers are the first ones I've tried in years that had a scent I liked -- make that loved! In fact I admit to using it on pulse points like perfume. I really wish they'd bottle and sell it as perfume -- I'd buy it out, it smells so good. The lip balm is unscented as far as I can tell, which is neither here nor there. I didn't buy it for the smell, but because my lips are so extremely chapped they almond peel off in sheets -- horrible. Sadly, as I said, it just doesn't do the job I'd expect from Weleda based on my experience with their moisturizers. It's rather thin, almost like a liquid, and it lasts fairly well considering that. But it just did nothing to heal my lips. Even older products like Chapstick do a better job for me. Take this one back to the drawing board. For $6 I expected something exceptional, and so it is -- just not in a positive way. I'll continue buying their other products though, which are exceptional in a completely positive way.

Completely addicted to Skin Food!!! This lip butter is a miracle in a tiny tube! My lips were dehydrated, peeling and tender ... after day 2 I experienced a 360 degree miracle. I continue to reorder and recommend to others! I am SOLD and will never be without this essential lip butter! Treat yourself, now!!!

I really like this product IF it isn’t runny/oily/gritty/bad taste. Unfortunately, at least 35-40 percent of the tubes are bad. Considering the price and the small amount in each tube, it ends up costing a fortune because I have to throw so many away. Photo shows how lip butter on left was normal consistency in one tube, and the oily mess that came out of the second tube, on right. They were mailed together, the same day, same lot number & date on box and tube. I don’t know why Weleda or Amazon can’t resolve the issue?!? Are these fakes or what?? I got a shipment 3 months ago where all 4 tubes were gritty & awful. I’m disabled & it’s hard to have to go back again and again to send back bad tubes of product. At $7 a tube, I’ve thrown away at least a dozen, but can’t afford to keep doing that!! Time to find a new lip product!

Nice texture, scent, and ingredient list. Giving it only 4-stars as the price is a bit beyond what it should be and hopefully I won't lose this one as I've lost every other lip balm I've purchased in the last 3 years! Wish me luck!

Il prodotto è ottimo. La profumazione è la stessa di altri prodotti Weleda (per chi conosce già il marchio) e quindi è delicata quanto basta da non stancare (a maggior ragione per il fatto che questa va applicata sulle labbra). L'altro prodotto che conoscevo era quello nutriente per la pelle che uso per la pelle secca dei piedi, quindi, la profumazione la conosco ma non così persistente come può essere proprio sotto il naso per tutto il tempo. Al contrario delle creme nutrienti per la pelle, più corpose e consistenti da stendere, questa inizialmente è corposa e poi si stende facilmente. Consiglio di mettere solo una goccia a centro labbra e poi stenderla (a scelta se con le dita o con la testina di plastica tondeggiante del prodotto). Sebbene il prodotto sia davvero piccolo per dimensioni lasciando valutare se il prezzo sia eccessivo per il prodotto, posso dire che usato tutte le notti (prima di coricarsi) e solo una goccia alla volta, confido che possa durare a sufficienza per girare la pelle secca e squamata delle labbra. Causa periodo molto particolare di stress, ho le labbra davvero malridotte per cui ho notato che i soliti prodotti non erano più sufficienti sia applicati per il giorno sia per la notte. Dipende dalla situazione delle vostre labbra, ovviamente, ma io posso dirvi che mettere questo prodotto anche solo una volta al giorno (prima di coricarsi) avrete un buon risultato al primo mattino seguente, per poi migliorare sempre di più con le applicazioni dei giorni successivi. Consiglio proprio la notte perché così agisce in modo uniforme fino a completo assorbimento senza il rischio di toglierlo anche solo con l'atto di bere

Manchmal sind meine Lippen so trocken, dass sie rissig und blutig werden und immer wieder aufplatzen. Kaum etwas scheint zu helfen, schon gar keine normale Lippenpflege. Nun habe ich diese Creme von Weleda entdeckt. Die riecht zwar relativ gewöhnungsbedürftig, in etwa wie diese Mosquito-Repellent-Kerzen. Aber das ist mir im Endeffekt vollkommen egal, denn diese Creme war (neben Blistex Lip Relief Cream) eines der einzigen beiden Produkte, das meine Lippen in diesem desolaten Zustand wirklich heilen kann. Es dauert ein paar Tage, bis es so weit ist, aber schon beim allerersten Auftragen spürt man eine deutliche Besserung. Es legt sich wie ein Schutzfilm um die Lippen, und das weitere Einreißen der Haut wird gestoppt. Ich möchte diese Creme wirklich unbedingt empfehlen. Nase zu und durch! Es lohnt sich. :-)
