Toy Story Pull String Jessie 15" Talking Figure

My granddaughter loves her Jesse doll, very well made and so cute,

The toy is really fun. It is almost an exact replica of the "real" Jessie. Her expression is a little different from the movie, the most notable one being that her eyelids are showing. Her hair is also really similar, except that it is not a "full" hair. There is only hair on the "outer" side of her scalp, if you push down your finger you can reach the scalp and feel no hair at all in the center. While the hair is tied, it is ok, but I think you must try not to loosen it, otherwise I guess it will be very difficult to make it look exactly the same again.Another minor issue is the plastic ring attached to the string. It is tied by a knot, and seems to be secure. But I am afraid that, if the knot becomes loose, the string may retract completely and become forever lost inside the toy. Maybe it is a good idea to put some glue on.Finally, her hat does not stick to her head, as it is much larger. It is different from Woody, which kind of stucks in if you push down a little.But these are only minor issues. I think it is a great toy, and recommend it to everyone. My 3-yr-old daughter loved it!

I was a little skeptic getting this Jessie doll, especially since we bought the $50 versions of Woody and Buzz, but she's better then I imagined! In my opinion she's actually a step up from her $50 version. She has the yarn hair instead of the hard plastic, Andy's name is even on her boot. I was a little bummed that she didn't have more sayings, but her voice is very clear and exact with the movie, it's a bit quieter than our Woody&Buzz but my 8 year old doesn't seem to mind. The only issue we have with her is the same problem everyone else seems to have, her hat doesn't stay on, it's not that it's too big, it's just too heavy, if you sit her up you can balance the weight out and it sits on her head just fine, but I'd suggest putting it up somewhere when it comes to playing with her. I'm going to attach string a string from one side to the other so when it falls off it still stays connected to her. All in all I'm very pleased with this buy and would recommend her over the more expensive one.

Fun

My kids are big fans of the Toy Story movies and we couldn't wait to have Santa put a Jessie and a Woody under the Christmas tree. Both dolls were fantastic, but I'll limit mostly limit my review to Jessie. The voice is nice and clear and at just the right volume. (Not obnoxiously loud like so many of the other toys that are out now.) The doll is well-crafted and seems like it will hold up over the years to come. The look of the doll is identical to the Jessie that is in the movies which made my kids very happy. My kids seem to like bringing their Jessie and Woody dolls along, everywhere we go. (Even more so than the previous favorite, Buzz Lightyear.) The dolls also seem to bring out a lot of imaginative play which is great to see in this day and age. Overall, I am so pleased that we got these, especially for the price we paid-$28 a piece. They seem a lot nicer than the $50 versions that are currently being sold in stores like Walmart, Toysrus and Target.

I bought this doll for my daughter who is almost 3, she is very gentle and was super excited to have Jessee by her side. She is an avid fan of TS 1 2 and 3. We got Jesse right within the shipping window and both were super excited to open it, however, it took just under 20 minutes to get her out of the packaging... VERY AGGRIVATING (I wasw trying to be careful so I would not damage her)! She was strapped in there like she was being shipped to the moon and back on top of the space shuttle. When I finally got her out, my daughter pulled the string once and then twice and she stopped talking. So I had to take her insides apart and luckily was able to find that the wire for her talking mechanism was broken... The sauder was obviously not done well considering it only took 2 pulls to pop the wire free. I was able to sauder the wire back together and so far so good and really, how many people usually have a saudering iron at home to fix this issue themselves?!!? Its only day 2.... so we will see if she lasts. Also, her hat is way to big. It wont stay on her head and it is quite heavy for the doll in the first place. Disney probably should have thought that through a little more. Overall her clothes look like they are made well and the first thing my daughter said when she saw her was "she has nice pants".... so cute. I wouldnt buy this doll online again for fear of breakage. I would rather treck to the store and buy it so I know I could return her if she broke again. I hate waiting weeks after paying for something to just have to return her and wait more weeks to have a new one back all the while dissappointing my little kiddo.

I was so worried that this would come damaged or not as it was described. (I ordered it before I read the reviews) and I was freaking out. When we got it, my daughters eyes lit up. She has been wanting this doll for almost a year now. The doll is so big! Looks IDENTICAL to the picture! Only thing is the hat falls off if you move her a lot. It DOES fit, though. Not a big deal at all. My daughter absolutely is obsessed with this doll!!!
