The sizing is perfect. The workmanship seems good (I've only had them for about a week, so...). These can definitely be worn outside. The only thing that kept me from rating these 4 stars is the lack of appreciable padding. Fits is perfect. I wear a ladies 10 wide and got the Women's 11 so they'd fit with winter socks - which they do. The sole is tough enough to wear outside. We live in the woods and they're perfect for trekking through the leaves with the dogs. Attractive enough to wear on the street - not clunky looking at all. I got the olive green which is exactly as it appears in the photos. More than I wanted to spend for slippers but would buy again.Update to original review. Slippers are still great & wearing well except for one thing. THEY STINK!!!!!!! I do not have a foot odor problem & generally wear socks but the slippers are so foul smelling, I'm going to toss them. This still isn’t the perfect shoe for me, but it’s close. They fit perfectly and are very comfortable. These are great if you walk outside in your house shoes like I do when I take the dogs out. They are faux fur lined and as with and house shoe like that, it just becomes a marred fur inside really quickly. That would be the only downside, but I knew that would happen before buying them.
