The replacement battery fits my laptop like the original battery and is charging and performing fine. I am quite satisfied with this product. At this time I cannot make and send a photo of the installed battery on my laptop.

This new battery for my laptop was a great value. It fit my laptop perfectly and allows me to work without being plugged in. It was easy to install and is great quality.

Laptop sees the charge level, but won't charge the battery or use it to power the laptop. Some models of laptops and BIOS versions check for an identifier chip in the battery. If they don't find it, they may show a warning message or just not work, even if it's supposedly an exact replacement for the battery model number. This one is actually rated (on the label) for a higher number of mAh than the original Lenovo that I have (2600 vs 2200) so if it had worked, it would have been better than the original.

I had to reset, restart, update drivers, re-restart, reset again.... finally the battery started to charge. Seems like a lot of work just to change a battery!
