Stainless Steel Life Sewing Machine Tweezers

I never got the hang of using a stiletto - God bless Eleanor Burns; but after a surgery for a brain tumor my fine motor coordination and dexterity have been significantly impacted. I started quilting as therapy and to satisfy a growing fabric addiction.... I'm also left handed so sewing small pieces is not only time consuming, but dangerous. For some reason these tweezers work wonderfully! I can easily use them in my right hand safely, but not so far from the fabric as to lose the feel of what I'm manipulating. Good buy!

I use them every day in my embroidery business I going to buy a few more just to have.

These are good for crafting......I used to stuff end of folded fabric with glue on it down into star ornaments I was making. It worked great. They are the best.....beveled end that is sharpened to grasp any fine thread (or hair!). I use MonoPoly clear thread to machine quilt with, which requirs pulling the end farther through the needle each time the automatic thread cutter does it's job, and I can't grasp the end with my fingers. (sometimes I can hardly see it because it's clear). These tweezers are indispensable to me when sewing or quilting on the machine. Great help when ripping out also; after clipping every inch or two, use these tweezers to grasp and pull on the bobbin thread. They day I took them from my medicine cabinet to my sewing machine was the best thing I ever did. I've had mine about 10 years. Tweezerman are exceptionally well made.

If you've ever owned a pair of the "college pliers" you know exactly how necessary they become to your household. I bought these to clean thread from my sewing machine, but they are flimsy and the tips don't close well enough to hold a piece of thread.

these were made on the cheap side. Not a great quality.
