I wasn’t sure how this would taste in a recreation of a Caribbean salad I’d tried. It was WONDERFUL! It tasted great and was easy to use. Additionally it worked well in a fritter recipe as well. I have been a repeat orderer.

Normally an east coast thing scungilli or sea snail is much like grilled of sautéed calamari. Great flavor and texture and you don't have to go to New York to get it

Fritters or sauce starts here. A little pricey but the alternative is to go out, catch them, boil them, and then chop them up yourself. Sure, you get to keep the shells, but your conch meat won't be as tender. And you don't have to hear them scream when you put them in boiling water..

My family has been buying this product for 40 years or so. Always consistent with quality and taste. I usually make this for the night of the fishes(Italian), but always keep a can in the pantry for when special company comes.by special I mean people that like Conch and other different seafoods. This brand is the best I’ve tried and I’m 73 years old.

LaMonica Scungilli (Conch) is excellent, and delicious, & I use it in a variety of dishes I make, especially for an Italian pasta sauce, and ceviche. I especially like the "Petite" variety, which is more delicate. It's not available locally where we live, so I have to order it, and I have always been happy with it.
