The pieces clip onto the computer well and don't add too much weight. Contrary to previous reviews, you definitely can extend the screen back further than 90 degrees, although it does feel a bit tight when you do so, almost like the two case pieces are rubbing together at the hinge. So you just need to be a little bit careful.
