I also have doubts about the longevity of the hi-viz diamonds surviving my washing machine, so I'm making sure to wash them inside-out to preserve them as long as possible. I'm a size 12 U.S. with a relatively narrow foot. The socks fit well but might be tight for someone with a wide foot. I mainly wear these when cycling. After more time with the socks, I’ll add that I would prefer if they were not so tight. I bought XL as I have long feet but I have thinner calves than most who would need an XL. The calves are very tight on my calves and appear to be restricting blood flow some, which is not great for socks I want to wear on long runs and bike tours.
