Yes it can be reused. It’s like a little ball maze and each time the door opens and you put the lid back on then the ball drops at the starting line again. You can only get the ball in from 1 side to open the latch. If you try to go backwards it will not work. Definitely a fun little gift. My kids ranging from 10-18 liked them.

the trigger on mine just slides back and forth, is it supposed to do that?
