WOW Skin Science Apple Cider Vinegar Shampoo & Coconut + Avocado Oil Conditioner Duo 16.9 oz

There are people here who used this once and then threw it away...That is just silly nothing is fixed in a day. I got this a little over a week ago...also because it looked like it could work and after trying so many other types of products that claimed to work. Day 1 - Ehhh it worked ok but I was in a rush getting to work so I didnt leave it in for 5 mins like the bottle says to do a couple of times a week. After using the shampoo my hair felt very dry so happy to be using the conditioner yes it is a coconut and avocado blend and not the apple cider vinegar conditioner but still very nice. Then used the 10 in 1 leave in conditioner and used the hair products that I normally used. I didnt see any difference really Day 2 - 5 used it but 2 days I went without washing it and it actually still looked good the 2nd day...not to greasy and had nice body left in my hair 2 weeks later... LOVE THIS STUFF!!!! My hair has volume - yeah...my flat hair with no volume actually has volume it feels like I have more hair on my head but only being a little over 2 weeks I know this isnt the case but loving it. Every 2 to 3 days I take a little longer in the shower and let the shampoo sit on my head while I shave and wash then put the conditioner in and do my same morning routine. And now the girl who used to wash her hair before leaving the house actually can go 2 to 3 days without washing it. No ... this didnt happen over night and took a week of using it. My Point is...if you're going to spend this much to try a new shampoo set...use it for 2 to 3 weeks before placing judgement on a product. Its actually very good, I didnt think so at first either but Im glad I kept using it. Im just hoping it helps to get my hair growing thicker again...but for that Ill give it another month or two :-) I NEVER do follow ups....I NEVER reorder shampoos online...well just reordered. This stuff is really amazing...not only can I now go 2 - 3 days without washing my hair, it doesnt look nasty inbetween washes. So here it is 3 months later so the stuff lasts pretty good. My hair isnt perfect but it's starting to fill in which is amazing for me. I havent been taking vitamins because I wanted to see how this stuff actually worked. So if you're skeptical give it a try...it cant hurt :-)

I have tried just about everything out there to help with my thinning hair, and nothing ever seemed to make a real difference until this shampoo and conditioner set. My sister-in-law’s hairdresser recommended the WOW Apple Cider Vinegar shampoo after my sister-in-law lost hair due to chemotherapy, and she was really happy with the results. That’s what convinced me to give it a try. I’m so glad I did. For the first time ever, I’m actually seeing new hair growth. It’s not a full, gorgeous mane yet, but there is definite new growth, and that alone makes me thrilled. The shampoo leaves my scalp feeling clean without being harsh, and the conditioner is very moisturizing without weighing my hair down.Because I’m finally seeing real results, I plan to keep using this set. If you’ve been struggling with thinning hair and feel like you’ve tried everything, this is absolutely worth trying. I’m very happy with it so far and hopeful for even more progress.

Before I get to into my review, I want to start by talking about the caps/lid. Before purchasing I read a lot of the reviews here and a lot of them people were complaining about how hard it is to open the lid and you have to do it before you start your shower and everything is wet. I discovered immediately that there are two clicks that the caps have to close. If you stop at the first click then the lid is super easy to open even when wet and it's enough that water doesn't just enter the bottle. If you are traveling or if bottle is stored on it's side or something like that then you will need to go to the second click to secure it from leaking. Just thought that would be helpful for others to know. Because with hair products it is important to keep in mind that different hair types react differently. I have very fine, think, long, and extremely straight hair. A lot of the time it feels dry and stringy. Now as for the product. I like it. It smells amazing and it does make my hair feel nice. I feel it moisturizes it well and helps it feel softer. You do need to fallow the directions very closely for the best results (just like the directions state) so it's very important to do so. It is a little time consuming since you have to let it sit and soak into your hair and scalp. What I do to make it not seem so long is shave or wash my body while it soaks. As for the dandruff control aspect of the product. The first few times I used it I thought it was helping with the dandruff, however the longer I used it I don't think it was helping with my dandruff. Full disclosure, I think that I may have seborrheic dermatitis. I tired this because I have tried everything I could think of before. I've tried T/Gel, Selson Blue, Head & Shoulders, and even some home remedies that I have some across. I did read some reviews from others that say they too have seborrheic dermatitis and it helped them, for me not so much. Maybe for just dry skin dandruff with out the seborrheic dermatitis condition this would work perfect, I can't say. Over all It's an amazing smelling shampoo and conditioner that did help with moisturizing my hair and makes it feel soft compared to the other dandruff shampoos I have used. I'd say try it.

I used the shampoo and conditioner as directed several times. Yes. I left each in for several minutes. Pros: lovely apple scent, shampoo lathers well and will leave hair squeaky clean, no junk ingredients, no issues with shipping, conditioner is quite concentrated and has lots of coconut oil Cons: the shampoo stripped my hair so badly that I’m still using deep conditioning masks after every wash a month later to bring softness back. No, I don’t use silicones or heavy products and, yes, I followed the directions. The coconut conditioner was far too heavy for my 2c/3a dry but healthy, low porosity curly hair. It left a simultaneously oily and drying film, making my hair crunchy and frizzy. Not cute! I tried hot water and finally had to use the shampoo again to remove the film. Bottom line: The return window has passed so I now use the shampoo as a very pricey brush and delicates wash. It works quite well for that purpose. My bras and makeup brushes smell wonderful! I will donate the conditioner to a shelter. The two products are an odd pair; the shampoo is for very oily or very residue-covered hair while the conditioner is for very porous dry hair. I imagine the idea in pairing them was to first strip the hair and then build it back up. Maybe that will work if you have short oily hair or you use heavy waxes/oils etc. Save your money and DIY an Apple cider vinegar rinse (1 part ACV: 1 water add chamomile tea or a few drops of essential oil if you like,) after shampooing with Castile soap to remove residue. Then wash and condition hair. Or, use the powdered AVC rinse or shampoo bars available on amazon.

I was looking for products that could help with my hair loss and discovered WOW shampoo and cream rinse. Honestly, I thought the name was a bit too much at first and then read many reviews, the ingredients and found myself saying, "Wow" over and over so decided to give it a try. My order came quickly and the packaging was (literally) the best ever. The directions suggested leaving the lathered shampoo on for 5 minutes, which I did. Any other shampoo I would have tried this with would have been dripping down my face and in my eyes but not this one! First "WOW' moment. My thick, curly hair felt very untangled (surprise) when rinsing. Next, the conditioner suggested a full 15 minutes but I didn't have that much time but will indulge myself very soon! The conditioner smells heavenly and I was able to leave it on for a full 5 minutes. My entire life I have plugged the shower drains with my hair loss and always have hair literally wrapped around my fingers during the cream rinse stage. While applying the WOW cream rinse there was NO hair loss. Second WOW. When rinsing, this is usually my big hair loss time but there was hardly any hair at all! Third - 20th WOW... I am in shock. This has NEVER happened. My hair feels fantastic - not at all frizzy and very soft. Next, blow drying took less than half the time it normally does - not sure what THAT was all about but - WOW - ... I'm over the moon at this point. NO hair loss during the drying stage and NO tangling... Seriously wondering where these products have been all of my life! I spent less than half the usual time with my hair and received compliments all day long... WOW. My hair was soft and shiny; healthy feeling and even stayed in place all day. I could run my fingers through my hair without having several fall out. I am WOWED beyond belief and grateful to those who created WOW products! THANK YOU!!!

I was actually very happy with my hair before I purchased this shampoo and conditioner. But I saw an article on Yahoo promoting this set and I thought, why not? I suffer from both seborrheic dermatitis and thinning hair along my scalp. I had long used a combination of Nizoral shampoo and pHat 5.5 conditioner - both excellent products that helped with managing my conditions but that I could only really use every 2-3 days. I also used Suave Shampoo/ Conditioner/ Body Wash for my day to day needs. After a lifetime of chronic scaling, I was actually happy with this to manage that condition of mine. BUT, no matter what, I still had some dandruff. When I saw that article and thought, maybe all these people are onto something. The pictures of scalps before and after were really persuasive. I read some of the reviews where people said to read the instructions on the bottle and that the negative reviewers probably didn't follow the directions. Cool. I'll do exactly that. I'm sure it'll be fine. I followed the bottle instructions exactly. I used small amounts of both the shampoo and conditioner to see how my scalp would react. Immediately, I was impressed because the products weren't heavy or sticky. These also smelled better than you'd expect considering the shampoo uses apple cider vinegar. But after my hair dried... Immediately, I was surprised that my hair didn't seem to have any volume. It just kind of flopped down - not like the way it would normally behave with any of my other products. I rarely use pomade in my hair and, given that my hair is already thinning, I decided to go natural to see how it would look in a day or two. In addition, it took on a waviness that it never had before. I actually couldn't comb it fully forward like I normally would be able to. Whereas I could mostly control my hair before, it now became a mass of poofy cowlicks. But I waited to see if my hair's personality would improve. And then the scaling happened. Massive, ugly scales that would normally occur from picking - except that I never pick my scalp. (I know what Winter scaling looks like too - this was much worse.) My hair had also become wavy and actually greasy. These are horrible traits, the likes I hadn't seen since at least my early 20's (I'm current in my 30's). On top of that, my hair now looks thinner than ever. The poofy cowlicks now all bunch together, creating bald patches I never had in my life and which expose the scaling. I spent the past year taking meticulous care of my hair. Having a full head of hair in my 30's, after going through male pattern baldness through my 20's, took years of nerve and resolve to work up. Now because of only one use of this shampoo and conditioner, I get to consider shaving my head in defeat for the first time since 2018. The only constructive thing I can say about these products is that they don't seem to have resulted in any more or less shedding than my usual washes would've created. This is not really a compliment, however, as good shampoos and conditioners are NOT supposed to cause shedding. Currently, I'm hoping this shampoo / conditioner combination runs its course so I can get my hair back to how I remember it and before I had a greasy, scaly, bald mess on my hands. My hair has done better with just WATER. I almost never write negative reviews but for sufferers of thinning hair and seborrheic dermatitis, stay well away from these products. This combination is probably fine for those without my conditions or for someone who already has very straight and thick hair. But for others like me, I couldn't give a stronger recommendation to avoid.

I will update this review as I continue to use this combo. I am only at the third wash and it seems to work. I have oily scalp but my ends get very dry and brittle overtime. I decided to give myself a Xmas gift and that's how I ended up getting this product after reading the mind blowing reviews. The order arrived fast and I was excited and nervous to try it. The first wash I felt like my hair was very VERY dry and I was concerned that I was once again the victim of another scam, but then I found out that was the product stripping all the chemical build-up off my hair. By the second wash I was at WOW! I thought to myself "this seems to work!". My hair is shiny and soft and it feels healthy like I have NEVER felt it before. I haven't gotten rid of my other shampoos/conditioners, but let me tell you...if this continues as it it I will definitely have just WOW on my shelf. I am so happy so far that I went ahead and ordered their hair oil and leave-in conditioner. That should arrive next weekend but I cannot wait to try it all together and see how much improvement I notice. Stay tuned! UPDATE: After three months of use I must say...THIS IS AWESOME! If you have a curly/wavy hair this is something you should consider. My hair is shiny and soft, feels clean and healthy, less hair falling out, almost zero freeze. I already got rid of my other shampoo and conditioner! I am sure that as I continue to use this combo my hair will look even better. I am sticking to it and setting an autodelivery. HAPPY CURLS AT LAST!!!!! **UPDATE** 3 months later I have to say that it took me 48 years to realize that I don't have bad hair, I just wasn't using the right hair products. My hair is healthy, my curls are defined and shiny, my scalp is not itchy anymore and even my hair dye lasts longer, no dandruff...this is just a miracle worker. My coworkers even asked me what I did with my hair, now I wear it down, it has grown. They also ordered it lol. If you are hesitant, stop it and hit that "place your order" button. You won't regret it

Love love love this set they both smell so good makes your hair very soft. I will continue to buy this brand from the seller. It was awesome.

I like this shampoo and conditioner. I have fine hair, so found this product great as it cleans my scalp really well without making it too dry or too heavy with the oils that some other shampoos contain. After using these products my hair feels clean and not weighted down at all. The conditioner makes it super easy to brush through my hair. It lasts quite long time as it’s a large 500ml bottle.

This shampoo and conditioner cleansed my scalp, gave body to more hair and made my hair feel amazing.
