Great tasting journal
I love this tasting journal. It’s mid size which makes it more portable. The tasting questions are populated so you can fill it out and have it to look back on. There is room for notes. It’s black and pretty as well. It has an accompanying book that I recommend as well.

Great wine journal, pages are very detailed, great buy for novice wine tasters as well!
As a self-proclaimed foodie, I have just begun my journey into wine and started with the Wine Folly site before even coming across this wine journal. Previously I had been writing down little notes in a spiral notebook and decided it was time to upgrade myself to something I could reference more easily. That’s when a search for a wine journal brought me to this one and it does not disappoint. The book itself is good quality with decently strong binding, and plentiful pages to allow for a long journey of wine tasting without the worry of having to get another journal anytime soon. While it has a traditional silk-like page holder, I purchased some of those sticky side labels for books or whatever to allow me to organize my journal by wine types, otherwise I will never be able to go back and reference a wine once I have filled out more pages. Still, despite this, the pages go into such great detail about the characteristics of a wine that I don’t even have the vocabulary yet to utilize it all. It certainly helps me differentiate the terms I’m using when describing a wine while I’m still new to the world of wine.

Nice wine journal perfect size
Wine Folly did a nice job. Wine journal gives some structure to the tasting notes but allows plenty of room for comments. Has a pocket in the back with a wine color chart (although color quality won’t win a prize). One wish? Some maps.

Great gift
Got this for my husband a while ago and wanted to provide a review after he'd had a chance to use it a bit. We like to attend local wine dinners so this has been a neat way for him to keep track of the wines he tries. It also came with a color chart. I can't say it was the best but it's definitely been fun comparing what we see with the chart and trying to look up the wine online to see if we are close. The book has a nice cover and the binding seems solid. Quality is nice overall. We have been enjoying this so I'd definitely recommend it.

Good journal for wine tasting notes.
Where I live in eastern Washington state are located several premier wine grape growing areas called a AVA(American Viticultural Area) or Appellation and the different regions have distinctive flavors that are best described using guide chart aroma guides.
