Slippery and uncomfortable
This is a lovely colour but it's not as good as the original halti lead. It's not comfortable to hold, very slippery material and if your dog suddenly pulls it burns your hand. Maybe use the original material and do more colours, I've gone back to my old lead which is a real shame.

Not padded at all
If your dog pulls like mine give this lead a miss - it will rip your hands apart. There is no padding on this lead at all so it's a bit brutal.

Comes unclipped when my dog shakes her head
I've had this lead for a couple of weeks now, and quite liked it until recently... the lead bit it's self is thick and sturdy with a nice soft neoprene inner which I found nice to hold, good length, which is great for training and reflective for dark nights and mornings. Ace.However, the clasps come unfastened when my dog shakes her head, which kind of makes all the previous good points irrelevant really, if it won't stay fastened its pretty much useless unfortunately.I've had to send it back, I contemplated buying some mini screw-gate carabinas to replace the clasps, because I like the lead, but Halti should really fix this problem not me.

Disappointed in product
As with the collar was very disappointed when I received this lead. Initially when opening expected the quality to be better and although it states it is chew proof, I could not understand why. It may very well be versatile but as there were no instructions on its use, could not really comment. I did not find it easy to hold and felt that there ought to be more instructions. I found that the ring was very uncomfortable, especially when the puppy pulled, ie the reason I bought it was to stop him pulling but have been unsuccessful so have stopped using it. In my view, there has to be a better solution but I do not think this is it, which makes the lead expensive.

Strong, durable & good quality
I had the previous version of this for many years. I must admit I preferred the older one as I could attach both clips to my beagles harness & collar and it was comfortable to hold. This new one is harder, tougher but not nice on the hand to hold. One benefit is it's not as chewable it will last longer. I would still buy the old type as well if I find one.

Sturdy
This is a very sturdy, well made and strong lead. If you’ve a big strong dog it’s great. It can be made a bit longer if a little more freedom is required. Or, in my case, one end can be attached to halti head collar and the other to a harness. However, I feel it’s too thick to hold comfortably, wrapping it around my hand. And, it’s quite heavy. The metal clips are quite heavy duty and I’m sure it pulls down on dogs head collar too much. I preferred the last halti lead I had, which was thinner, but more comfortable to hold, and dog didn’t complain so much about wearing head collar. My husband, who doesn’t use head collar, says there’s nothing wrong with it (he’s got bigger hands). So, just preference, I suppose. Well made though.

A great multiway lead.
This is a great lead all round. I'm really happy with it.I'm a dog walker so I need my leads to be durable and comfortable for various dog breeds from the tiny to the giants. This lead really covers all bases really well.I like to clip the leads around my waste for my dogs that pull and it does the trick perfectly and comfortably for me. It doesn't cut into my waist and has a good amount of length left for the dogs to walk comfortabley ahead of me.The colours are a great added bonus too. My brand is blue as it's the colour they see best so the blue leads are perfect.I really recommend for anyone who needs a lead whoch can be worn multiway comfortably.

Make sure you get the right size
I got a large lead which for a Scottie was to big to handle. I then got a small size and I found that it is so useful. I can have it long or short depending where I'm walking her. If you go to Dog Training they seem to train you using this sort of lead. It seems well made and thought out. Would recommend it.
