Wife was happy with them.

I plan to give these to my wife as a baby shower gift for the July birth of our son. I just received them today and I'm very disappointed in them. I didn't expect the crown jewels for $99 by mail, but I also didn't expect milky, pink stones. The pair that I received is A grade, and probably the low end at that. One stone has a large, clear imperfection right on the face. It's the only clear thing about the stones, as I can't even see through them with a flashlight pointed right into them. There is no luster or brilliance to the stones at all. I'll leave it up to my wife as to whether or not she wants to return these, but I'm now willing to go spend more money on a higher grade pair at a jeweler.

I really like these ruby earrings. I was warned through the reviews that the rubies were probably going to be smaller that I thought they'd be, so there were no surprise there. However, I really do like them and they are my second favorite earrings that I own.

I would have thought they would have come in a nicer box with discription of stone size and metal type. How do I know if they are what I thought I bought.

Pretty but clarity and sparkle were not what I expected

Wish they were a deeper red, slightly pink but very nice.
