I absolutely love this rug! It exceeded my expectations in every way. The charcoal gray color is stunning, and it is even more beautiful in person than the pictures can capture. The quality and appearance are exceptional, and it has completely transformed my space. I am beyond satisfied with this purchase. If you're on the fence, go for it. You won't regret it!

I love the color and how cheerful it is. It appears as a cream color with some slight variations of the fibers ie grays and light browns that is very subtle. It helps give it an interesting and natural look! The down side is that I know with pets it may be difficult to take care of any potential stain on it. I felt the darker color may be too dark in a hallway so went with the lighter color. For purchasing a jute rug I did not think it would be this soft and cushy! Puppy approved! This is located in a low traffic area where we do not wear shoes and where the dogs can hang out in between room. They seem to love it! I would not put this in a high traffic area as it is soft. With the Karistan/Mohawk 2 sided rug pad the rug easily stays in place. Be sure to cut the pad at least 1 inch in from the end of the binding so the rug lays flat. The price point was very fair considering I have peace of mind knowing we have eliminated potential VOCs that are emitted from most rugs on the market.

I love the way it looks and feels, but within a month it yellowed. i had ordered 2 and the one that was in the sun yellowed quicker but the one in indirect light yellowed slower. Photos are of one rug only for consistency in pictures. you can see its splotchy and in one photo you can see when i bend the rug what the original color that didn't see daylight was. Even the back of the rug shows the original color. Super bummed. Don't buy unless you want a splotchy yellow color. FYI this was used for staging an unoccupied home that was listed. It was a vacation/2nd home so it was shown by appointment only and they were not in a place that got any wear and tear.

I love the color a creamy off white. Not too yellow and not gold. It’s soft underfoot. I have it Covering a tile pattern I despise. The jute rug under it is something I don’t like and could not return. This does shed a little and will show on dark socks. But I don’t mind. We’re coastal and barefoot most of the time. This is the second time buying. After 5 years the other got a little tired looking.

This rug was a yellow tone which some reviews already said but I chose to ignore. There is a more white option I would go with if you are not wanting yellow. The rug sheds a little. I already have two dogs that shed so I didn’t think I could handle the shedding of the rug on top of that. It was very beautiful once I rolled it out. Definitely will be a great rug for some.

We have other Safavieh rugs we are very happy with but this rug is a nightmare. It will not stop shedding. We have had it for 6 months and vacuum 2-3 times a week and it fills the canister each time. Wearing dark clothing near the rug is impossible. It’s very inconvenient when guests are over and they think pet hair is on them and mention that our pets must shed a lot but we hand them the lint roller and have to explain it’s the rug… It does look nice—but that’s about it. Our young kids play on it and it’s all over them. Pokes through clothes and makes everyone itchy. We’re going to have to replace it because we are concerned for their health. Sharp twigs were also coming out of the rug and stabbing their feet. Also many loops came undone the first month we had the rug. This is my first review and I made the mistake thinking the other negative reviews were exaggerated. I assumed it would be like a wool rug that stops shedding eventually but it is not the case. The other negative reviews are legit. I think it would work as a runner or entry rug ok. Caution to people purchasing for a living room with kids and guests coming over. We also contacted Safavieh but they said they can’t help.

Very happy with the rug. It’s nice quality. I don’t like ordering rugs online because I can’t feel the quality. It goes well in our Florida condo. The texture is nice and so much softer than a juke rug. Only concern would be if you have dogs that may run across it or rough house on it, their nails could snag the loops in the rug. UPDATE: I’ve had the rug for 6-8 months now. It’s looks great. The dog’s nails didn’t snag the loops but IT’s SHEDDDING! It’s not like the shedding wool rugs do. Much worse. The fibers stick to the bottom of bare feet and it tracks thru our house and leaves fibers all over our hard floors. Very disappointed. I absolutley ove how it looks but the shedding can’t be overlooked. My rating went from 5 star to 3 star.
