Excellent for post-op hysterectomies
I just had a laparoscopically assisted vaginal hysterectomy 8 days ago, and these Post Op panties have made a huge difference in my recovery. After surgery, I was extremely bloated and swollen ("swelly belly") and I felt a lot of pressure on my abdomen and back when I would stand up or move around. These panties relieve so much of that pressure and make it easier to sleep, relax, and get through my daily activities. I wear them daily!I only wish they were machine washable and able to be tumble dried because I'm not a big fan of hand washing them and waiting for them to air dry. Other than that, they're perfect. You can see how swollen my belly is in the photo, and for size reference, I ordered the 1x/2x. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask!

Absolutely love these
I had my surgery 9 days ago. It was supposed to be laparoscopic/vaginal but ended up being total abdominal due to the severity of the endometriosis. After 4 days in hospital and trying an abdominal binder that hurt horribly, I was leary of putting these panties on thinking it would cause more pain. When I got up the courage, the difference in pain was amazing. I could move around easier with less pain and my back muscles weren't taking the brunt of the work. I left them off one day and my pain increased back to the beginning of my recovery. My only problem that I have with these panties is that I don't have enough of them!

Your Post-op BFF!
Worth the price for quality and peace of mind! I found this to run only slightly large, but given that the sizes are "SM/MED" or "L/XL", I went with the "L/XL". Something in between these two sizes would have been best. That being said, these have been a post-hysterectomy godsend! While I'd like them to have a tiny bit more "hug", these are super comfy, serve as a reminder to be careful in my movement, and offer peace of mind as a barrier for my post-op incisions from potential outer-clothes friction. I'm short ($'-2") but long torsoed & these come all the way up to my bra band, which I'm okay with. These aren't overly thick so stay concealed under my clothes and there's no rolling down of the waistband when I move. I was worried it would roll down because I have post-op "swelly belly" and am already thick waisted, but these stay up like a champ! I've been machine washing and drying on delicate cycle, cold water with no problem so far. I bought two 2-packs and the lighter color was handy after my first post-op shower for noticing one of my incisions bled a very small amount. If these hold up well, and I think they will, these would be good later on as a smoother under slim-fitting dresses. For reference, I'm 5'-2" and 170 lbs.

Magic
I'm not sure why these are wonderful. They look like overpriced girdle panties. However, I am 3 weeks post op, and still want to wear these every day. They are just the right amount of support to make me feel safely held up and in, without feeling squished like a girdle panty would. I especially recommend these to bigger ladies like me who have a belly that rolls over. A floppy belly hurts when recovering, but these nicely hold it in place. They also reach to my bra strap and don't roll down! (I'm about 5'10", 300 lbs. I'm not sure how much larger of a lady these would be comfy for, but I would guess 20 more pounds would fit.)

They do not fit on short ladies
I found that the panties are large on me. I am 5ft 2in and a 120lbs and the S/M are big on me. I had a Total Laproscopic Hysterectomy and they give me great belly support. Because I am short, they come above my bra and they are loose and saggy in the crotch. I find that they are always creeping and giving me wedgies. I will continue to wear them while I heal but I will be happy to get rid of these and get back into my regular panties.

I had a laparoscopic procedure (not an abdominal hysterectomy) but these have been fantastic for that
Necessity for any abdominal surgery! I had a laparoscopic procedure (not an abdominal hysterectomy) but these have been fantastic for that. They "cradle" the abdomen area all the way up to almost bra-line which with lap procedures is where you need it until the CO2 dissapates & to give your muscles a break after being so distended & prodded around during the surgery. The muscle soreness was the most unsuspected, these really helped with that (so did icing when sore.)I'm size 4, small is good for the belly, might be a tiny bit baggy in the rear, but it's not a problem or noticeable in clothing. The two pack is great to have nude and black. I wore mostly the black but nude needed to washing time & wearing lighter colored fabrics. The price is best I was able to find anywhere. They have held up well with constant wearing over at least month. After not needed for daily wear, these will work great as shapewear & as dance pants under shorter skirts :)))I recommend wholeheartedly.

Worth the money to try for relief
Recovering from a abdominal myectomy and i have a incision from my belly button down 7 inches. I ordered it at day 20 because I was over the white pelvic support strap you get in the hospital. I had a deep ache on my ovaries too from it. I am 5’2 180 and I got a large/xlarge. Im a 13 in size. My boyfriend had to help ne put them on because its tight and would drag over my stitches and remove my steri tape strips but once its on the ache improved. I cant wait to see hiw i feel in a week but for the instant relief ...worth the money.

Great post surgery undies
These are awesome! I like that I feel protected in these undies. I'm 2 months post surgery and still wear these every day since I no longer wear the binder but on occasion. I tried them out in a L/XL first and now wear the S/M. I'm between a size 10-12 and the L/XL were a little too big. I recently purchased the silicon ones so I can't wait until they arrive to try those!!!
