I hate to have things like this end up in a landfill in such a short time!!! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Worked exactly as expected for 7 months *by R***3 on December 3, 2025* My old humidifier died after 10 years, so I replaced it with this one mainly because of the "low noise" feature. It is certainly much quieter than my old one, so I was very happy about that. I also used the hose to drain into my floor drain and it worked very well, dropping the humidity and keeping it at 30% consistently. After 7 months I noticed a sweet smell coming from my basement, and saw there was blue / green liquid coming out of the hose. After some googling, I determined it was likely copper oxide - due to copper parts inside being exposed to moisture. It was also no longer draining. I contacted the manufacturer, and they indicated the unit seemed to have a "lack of refrigerant", and offered to send me a replacement unit, with a prepaid label for me to send the old one back with (using the new unit's box).
