Acoustic Foam 2-1/2" x 24" x 18" UL 94

I replaced a very gross blanket with this foam, inside of my 18" kick drum. It arrived perfectly, no bad smell, no tearing. I cut off about 8" to get this to surround approximately the bottom 1/3 of my kick drum. It was easy to cut. I used 3m strips to secure it. It bends nicely and fit right in. It touches lightly the batter and resonant heads. I am using an EMAD system for heads. It sounds GREAT. Numerous compliments already, and it is much lighter without the blanket inside. You can hear the natural tone of the drum much better, and it is louder and punchier. I use a boundary mic inside, just rested on the foam, and it is perfect. I will use this system going forward for all kick drums. Try it out, you will not be disappointed.

I used this to line a small briefcase in order to safely carry glass items.

In the interest of marital bliss, I located front and center home theater speakers in an enclosed wooden entertainment center. The arrangement is not acoustically ideal and reflections from within the center channel speaker compartment were muddying dialog. I ordered 4 of these panels to line the tops, bottoms, and backs of the compartments in the entertainment center. The sound is noticeably clearer and more spacious now.The panels themselves are about as expected - flexible but not floppy - and I'm pleased with the quality.They do have a slight odor if you sniff them, but the smell from 4 of these panels is not noticeable from a couple of feet away. I can imagine the smell being a problem if an entire room or wall were lined with these.Curiously two shipped in separate clear plastic bags and two others unwrapped, but none were damaged in shipping.

...Actually, it doesn't smell like Anything at All, which is just perfect, really.I thought perhaps that was an important thing to say, as there seems to be a lot of talk about what this foam smells like.But again, even with my Super Sniffer nose, I couldn't detect Any scent which is really Important to me, since I am using this wonderful foam to Dry Bath Bomb Fizzies on!It's Just Perfect for this, as it has all these wonderful dimples to hold your nice round bombs and keep them from rolling away, it's sturdy- you can load it up with good sized bombs and it doesn't bend and dump your fizzie bombs to the floor, it's perfectly straight so everything stays nicely in its place, and it's Foam, which, combined with the dimples, keeps your bombs from going out of round, or getting a flat place.Also, even though it's a very dense foam, it still allows for great air circulation!You get a good size piece, larger than a cookie sheet (which, btw, it's firm enough so you don't Need to put a cookie sheet under it- you can save them for your cookies, or for your Flat bombs, and Embeds! Of course, use your own judgment, I'd hate for you to loose a whole batch of super sized fizzies because of something I said!).It came nice and fast, and is Much nicer and better priced than anything you can casually pick up locally. At least it was for Me, and I'm located in the very busy Fort Lauderdale, Miami, Palm Beach area.I wish I hadn't wasted that $10.00 on a piece of flimsy mattress padding before I got this, although my kitten thinks I got it just for her for a kitty cushion, and she couldn't be happier about the whole situation, so I retract that statement...lol... but if I Hadn't had a very opinionated, self important, Darling, Spoiled Rotten (and she Deserves it, Doesn't she? Yes she Does! Who's mama's sweet sugar lump? Hmmm? Ow, hey- Don't bite me... arrghhhh!!! ♡♡♡!!!) (I should probably mention at this point that this isn't Roger, its Roger's Wife, in case you were starting to...wonder... about Roger...lol) ;)So anyway, Great product, Wonderful for drying bath bombs, Great price, how can you go wrong?Not to mention, this being sound buffering acoustic foam, I never have to worry about my bath bombs bothering the neighbors, ever again.This foam is de Bomb!I shop extensively online, and on Amazon in particular- I rely Heavily on reviews to help me decide which products are worth buying. Slow to arrive but perfect condition. Used to redo hand gun case. Square cuts and no bad odor. GREAT

This product advertises that is is UL rated but comes with not paperwork detailing it. The seller didn’t answer our question when we asked for proof. Other than that it is typical sound foam.

Unlike many people who were disappointed by foam that wasn't 2.5 inches thick I orderd this HOPING that it wasn't 2.5 inches thick. I needed 1.5 inch thick foam and this was the only one I could find that was roughly the length and width I needed to replace foam in a gun case (I cut two pieces down to 10.5"x19"). To my surprise the foam I received was 2.5 inches thick, not ideal, but I made it work. I'm happy with the quality of the foam and it doesn't smell. It's more firm than the old foam and cradles the weapon lights well.

Initially, It seemed there was only one item, not the two I purchased. So, I placed a question about that. Never having purchased these before, I failed to realize they were messed so tightly together it seemed like one solid item.Please know I apologize for my mistake. I am 95 years old.I am satisfied with the product, which I purchased to help relieve and/or prevent bed sores.Thank you.
