Nelson Wood Shims 8" 24 Pack - Kiln Dried Wood

I had a hard time finding these at the hardware store (as well as any employees to tell me where to look for them... you know what store I am talking about) so I ordered them online. I don't know what to say. They are wooden shims. They are made of wood, and shim-shaped. I have used them for a few things around the house; they work well and I have not needed to replace them.

These little gems have so many uses around the house and yard.

These are great and easy to use and make your food taste so much better. You soak them in some water put some salmon chicken. And you’ve just made a gourmet meal full of flavor and smoke.

Solid shims. What else is there to say.

They work as shims and even applicators for wood glue. Overpriced, but cheaper than Lowes

They work as advertised. They are Wood as advertised. No complaints.

I bought these because I had a few bookshelves that were angled ever so slightly away from the wall. I shimmed them under the front and the bookshelves are nicely set. I've also found other uses around the house. Wobbly table? Cut the shim in half and slip it under the short leg. Rattly window AC unit? I was able to use the shims around the edges between the window and the unit to stop the rattle. You can even use these for craft uses. They're thin enough to trim yourself and can easily become roof bits for a doll house. These are just good to have around for official and unofficial shimming! Good price, around $10 right now for the 24 pack.

I never knew these existed ready made so happy to discover a practical product. I bought these to level an Ikea Pax wardrobe. Trust me level the base with these and it will save you hours of packing.

Nice pack of wood shims and the sizing was consistent. Worked well for small leveling and installation jobs around the house. Only downside is they split pretty easily if you put too much pressure on them, so you need to be a bit careful when hammering them in.

These packages are inconsistent. I bought 2 packages and 1 pack is great the other pack looks like it has mold on them and they are broken.
